Smallville Episode 1 "Lazarus"Review By: Jason Albrecht Smallville is a comic lover’s embarrassment. I want to like it, and at times I do (very few and very far between). Last season had a few bright points ( Hawkman for one), but the season premiere let down every hope I had from the season finale. I have nothing good to say about it. Nothing. It had moments where it could have stopped being reserved and grabbed the bull by the reigns. Have Chloe become Dr. Fate . How cool would that have been? But it would have been too bold for Smallville. It’s the last season for Clark ’s sake. Give him the suit early and make us love him. Instead they decided that he needs to be taught another lesson, again. At least we saw this season’s villain: Darkseid (the impending darkness hinted at heavy handedly last season and throughout the first episode of this season). But seriously? He formed out of a moving cloud of smoke?? This isn’t Lost and that’s no smoke monster.

Must See Trailer For The Warrior's Way I have always been wondering when we would see another film that could holds its own against Crouching Hidden Dragon ? Looks like that day has come. The Warrior's Way is visually impresive and the action in the trailer looks amazing.With a great cast in the movie, I see nothing but great things for this film. Natalie Portman In Negotiations To Star In "Gravity" His “ Gravity ” script might be having trouble achieving orbit, but Jonas Cuaron’s relationship with Warner Bros. is soaring. The upshot is that the studio is in active negotiations with Natalie Portman , who has shot to the top of the most-wanted actress list off the heat generated from her performance in Darren Aronofsky ’s “ Black Swan .” The studio has picked up an untitled pitch from the scribe, with Hollywood Gang attached to produce. Logline details are being sequestered, but the project is a gritty thriller set in Mexico City. Cuaron co-wrote “ Gravity ” with his father, director Alfonso Cuaron. It initially was set up at Universal as an Angelina Jolie vehicle but then migrated to Warners, where it eventually lost Jolie. Trent Reznor & HBO Developing Sci-Fi Series "Year Zero" Trent Reznor says HBO and BBC Worldwide Productions are moving forward with the development of “ Year Zero ,” the grim sci-fi epic that Reznor has chronicled in his music as well as in a celebrated Alternate Reality Game (ARG). “We are in [the development phase of] pre-production with HBO and BBC [Worldwide Productions] to do a miniseries,” Reznor said Monday. “It’s exciting. I probably shouldn’t say too much about it except that I understand that there’s a thousand hurdles before anything shows up in your TV listing. It’s been an interesting and very educational process and it cleared the HBO hurdle a few months ago and now we’re writing drafts back and forth.
