Movie Review: #TheAdderallDiaries A Confusing Mess

This film was just a confusing mess and frustrating to watch to in general. Review by: Erika Ashley You’ll need to take Adderall just to stay focused in this poorly constructed dark drama/thriller. Stephen Elliott is many things, an author, a recovering addict, a kink, and a self-loathing yet highly selfish liar. Having struggled through his adolescence after the death of his mother, Stephen’s father does his best to parent him but only seems to make matters worse. Stephen grows up to be an acclaimed author just scoring a new book deal and performing a reading at an event to promote his most recent novel about his horrid and neglected upbringing. Just before the book reading Stephen becomes interested in a local murder trial of a man and father who is claimed to have murdered his wife. While at the first court hearing a young reporter, Lana, catches his eye. While at the book reading, out of the blue Stephen’s father, Neil Elliott, surprises everyone including Stephen. Hi

The Adderall Diaries Opens Tomorrow Starring @JamesFrancoTV

Based on the bestselling memoir by Stephen Elliott, The Adderall Diaries is the gripping and complex story of how an author’s fascination with a high-profile murder case leads him to come to terms with his troubled past while embarking on a potentially life-changing romance in the present. James Franco plays Stephen Elliot, a once-successful novelist paralyzed by writer's block and an escalating Adderall dependency, who becomes obsessed with a high-profile murder case as a way to escape his personal troubles. His interest leads him to meet Lana Edmond (Amber Heard), a smart, sexy reporter who gives him unique access to the case. As their relationship takes off, Stephen is suddenly thrust back into the past when his father (Ed Harris), a cruel and vindictive man, shows up to challenge the veracity of the memoir Stephen is writing. As Stephen simultaneously delves into the details of the murder case (which turns out to have some unexpected parallels to his own troubled upbr

#THEADDERALLDIARIES Official Trailer

Watch the official trailer for THE ADDERALL DIARIES , directed by Pamela Romanowsky and starring J ames Franco, Amber Heard, Ed Harris, Christian Slater , and Cynthia Nixon. As a writer stymied by past success, writers block, substance abuse, relationship problems and a serious set of father issues, Elliott's cracked-out chronicle of a bizarre murder trial amounts to less than the sum of its parts. Not long into the 2007 trial of programmer Hans Reiser, accused of murdering his wife, the defendant's friend Sean Sturgeon obliquely confessed to several murders (though not the murder of Reiser's wife). Elliott, caught up in the film-ready twist and his tenuous connection to Sturgeon (they share a BDSM social circle), makes a gonzo record of the proceedings. The result is a scattered, self-indulgent romp through the mind of a depressive narcissist obsessed with his insecurities and childhood traumas. Please Leave A Comment-

Sex And The City 2 Review By: Windy

Sex And The City 2 Review By: Windy Windy reviews “Sex And The City 2". Take a swing by her website and check out what she’s been up to lately. Sex and the City 2 (SATC), directed my Michael Patrick King and starring Sarah Jessica Parker , Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon , opens with aerial views of New York City skyscrapers and “Empire State of Mind” by Alicia Keys and Jay-Z playing in the background. The opening scene features Carrie Bradshaw/Preston leaving her apartment in a casual white dress, reflective gold oversized sunglasses and a pair of gold sequin stilettos to match. Per the usual SATC style, Carrie narrates most of the story, starting with how she met Charlotte (Davis), Miranda (Nixon) and Samantha (Cattrall) in the 80’s and 90’s. Each character is shown in a brief flashback to illustrate how they looked back then. Carrie had two looks – the first with Converse (which have made a comeback) and a spiral perm, and the second as a Madonna do

Sex and the City 2 Trailer

Sex and the City 2 Trailer Slip on your Manolos and grab a Cosmo, girls, because the first "Sex and the City 2" trailer is here! The nearly minute-and-a-half trailer reveals few plot points, but the sequel looks like another fun- and fashion-filled romp, centering around a girlfriend getaway to the desert. The trailer (see it after the jump!) opens with quick shots of New York City accompanied by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' seriously apropos hit "Empire State of Mind." "It's been two years and in two years, amazing things can happen," purrs Sarah Jessica Parker. Cut to Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) sauntering down a Big Apple sidewalk, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) baking cupcakes with her 2-year-old daughter Rose and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) doing something at what appears to be a wedding (the rumored Stanford Blatch-Anthony Marantino nuptials, perhaps?). The gal pals then hop on a plane and jet to the desert to "get carried far away," which explains th
