The Wall On Digital HD August 1 & On Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD, & On Demand August 15

From the acclaimed director of Edge of Tomorrow comes the deadly action thriller, The Wall , arriving on Digital HD August 1 and on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD, and On Demand August 15 from Lionsgate. Portraying U.S. military sharpshooters, Golden Globe® winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Best Supporting Actor, Nocturnal Animals, 2017) and WWE Superstar John Cena (Trainwreck) star in this nail-biting game of cat and mouse that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats until the final shot is fired. The Wall is a deadly psychological thriller that follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship. The home entertainment release of The Wall includes audio commentary with director Doug Liman and actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, a “Facts from the Front Lines: A Visual Journey Through The Wall” featurette looking at the making of the film, and

Movie Review: #TheWallMovie The Film Is Gripping & Intense

An effective thriller Rama is back. The best way to describe “ The Wall ” is that it reminds us of 2002’s “ Phone Booth ” starring Colin Farrell and 2010’s “ Buried ” starring Ryan Reynolds . All of these movies are essentially stories of a predator toying with their food or prey. Our flawed protagonist pinned down while a highly skilled murderer speaks from the other end of the phone line messing with his head. It’s like a mind game between Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling all over again. “ The Wall ” is gripping and intense. Directed by Doug Liman, “The Wall” stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and WWE star John Cena as two soldiers investigating the deaths of pipeline contractors when all of a sudden they become sitting targets of a lethally accurate sniper. Dwain Worrell wrote the script which made it to the black list (great unproduced screenplays) and I can understand why because Worrell pretty much has come up with a story that’s quite nail-biting. And the fact that the sni

For comparison, last summer's Pacific Rim kaiju topped out at 181m long, and the Godzilla here seems to be roughly twice as big. New Clip From Godzilla

With his big visage well and truly out there, and his film due to land in our cinemas this month, Warner Bros. and Legendary aren’t shy about showing Godzilla , though he’s only glimpsed briefly in this new clip from the film. That said, there is some information given away here that constitutes something spoilery, and you get a look at another huge beastie from the movie, so proceed with caution. Watch the clip after the Jump... Providing some context for Ken Watanabe’s oft-heard trailer line about the arrogance of man, here we find his Ichiro Serizawa and David Strathairn’s Admiral Senz wondering what the Big G’s chances are against another massive monster that is terrorizing the local populace. If you’re concerned about learning the outcome, don’t be as this is really just the build-up to a scrap in the film, with Godzilla adopting the giant creature equivalent of a “come at me, bro” stance before we cut to black. Godzilla, of course, finds Monsters man Gareth Edwards d

International Trailer For #Godzilla

There are those of you out there keen to see as little of Godzilla as possible in the run-up to release, particularly in the case of the monster himself. That being the case, think carefully about whether you want to watch this latest trailer. Where previous promos have been all about building the dread and keeping the threat as offscreen as possible, this one's all-out war, with new footage offering glimpses of what look like significant action sequences. It only lasts a minute and a half, but still, we warned ya. Watch the trailer after the Jump... So yes. Nothing there to disabuse us of the notion that this is going to be the event movie of the year. Although dare we mischievously point out that Godzilla doesn't seem to have damaged the Statue of Liberty quite as badly as the Cloverfield beast did? And this one's the much smaller replica in Vegas! Monsters' Gareth Edwards, like you need telling, is the director, with a cast including Bryan Cranston, Elizab

Godzilla - Extended Look. He Is Coming

Here is an extended look at this summer’s colossal film, GODZILLA . This film series will always have a special place in my heart. The reason behind that is my father starred in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla as Dr. Asimov . Marvel's Phase 2 Concept Art

ABC  aired a celebratory one-hour special called Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe , and with that came some glimpses of its upcoming Phase Two projects. Published simultaneously on Marvel's website are these pieces of concept art and snaps of test footage, showcasing Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Ant-Man and Guardians Of The Galaxy . Possible spoilers follow, so don't look if you don't wanna know. First up is Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age Of Ultron , giving us first impressions of Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, and a shot of Hulk and Black Widow by a collapsing building that looks not unlike something from the climax of Avengers Assembled. There's also an image doing the rounds of Iron Man putting his Hulkbuster armour to its intended use. That one isn't part of the official Marvel-released set, but hey, we'll throw it in anyway. Then we've got Edgar Wright's Ant-Man . These four
