Fans were treated to a surprise on Sunday when Taron Egerton joined Elton John on stage at the 95th show of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in Hove, UK. This duet marks the first time Elton has been joined on stage for a performance since the tour began in September 2018. Following the worldwide release of ROCKETMAN, the star of ROCKETMAN and the Rocket Man himself joined forces for a duet on one of Elton’s most beloved songs. ROCKETMAN  is a 2019 biographical musical film based on the life of musician Elton John . Directed by Dexter Fletcher and written by Lee Hall, it stars Taron Egerton as John, with Jamie Bell, Richard Madden , and Bryce Dallas Howard . The film follows John's early days as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music to his musical partnership with Bernie Taupin. The film is titled after John's 1972 song "Rocket Man".
