First Official Photo Of Jason Momoa As Conan

First Official Photo Of Jason Momoa As Conan Back in May, the first shots of Jason Momoa as Conan the Barbarian popped up online . They were blurry, they were small, and not much to get excited about. Unlike those, the first official photo isn't only much bigger, but at it's a clear picture. View the picture after the jump.. Nu Boyana Film Studios , which recently wrapped production on Marcus Nispel's Conan, has posted the first clear image of everyone's favorite Cimmerian. While it's hard to argue against Arnold Schwarzenegger being the perfect man for the role, it looks as though Momoa, has always been a big guy, did his best to bulk up. Check out the photo below. First Look: Jason Momoa As Conan

First Look:  Jason Momoa As Conan Latino Review got there hands on a few set photos of Jason Momoa as Conan. From the big screen reboot of the Robert E. Howard classic character Conan. The reboot by Millenium Pictures focuses on a younger Conan and his wild barbarian ways. Dark Horse has a really good Conan series right now that also is focusing on a younger Conan. Remember they are set photos so they are not the best quality of pictures. I am really hoping they do this film justice and I am praying to CROM that they do not screw up this film we all grew up on. Rose McGowan Added To The Cast Of Conan

Rose McGowan Added To The Cast Of Conan Rose McGowan has been added to the cast of the upcoming film Conan. She is set to play an evil half-human/half-witch. McGowan's casting must cause speculation over the fate of the planned Red Sonja film. After all, last we heard McGowan was set to play the lead, and since that story exists in the same universe as Conan, it's a bit odd to cast her as a very different character here. Either they're messing with Sonja's (admittedly confused) backstory, or they're giving her an evil twin, or that film's gone on the backburner or been recast. Based on the Robert E. Howard books, the film is written by Thomas Dean Donnelly & Joshua Oppenheimer, Sean Hood and Andrew Lobel and centers on the mythical hero driven to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village. Lang will portray a sadistic warlord, and McGowan is to play an evil half-human/half-witch. Howard appears as young Conan, and Perlman portrays Conan

Howard's original "Conan" novels as opposed to past film iterations. "I have no idea how I'm going to do it," Lang laughed. "First I'm going to find out how I'm going to sound. I'm going to get back on a Mongolian pony and ride like the wind. I'm going to flash my scimitar. I'm going to cut the nuts off Conan and his father." Latino Review reported last week about this casting news. Man those guys are good. The site claiming Lang had been offered the role and citing an anonymous source within M

Kull the Conqueror Film Getting A Reboot

Kull the Conqueror Film Getting A Reboot Do we really need this film to be remade? What do you think? Native to Atlantis, Kull grows up with his family in Tiger Valley until a flood wipe his clan out. Another clan bring him up, but he stands up for a woman destined to burn alive and ends up banned from Atlantis. He sails for the continent and take up the mercenary way. He'll become king, just as Conan will do thousands of years later. Under his influence, Valusia ends up as the most powerful kingdom of the time. As a reminder, in 1997, Kull made an appearance on screen in the less than convincing Kull the Conqueror, directed by John Nicolella and played by Kevin Sorbo. Conan Reboot Character Line Up It wasn't till a few years ago that I actually sat threw and watched the Original Conan movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. And to tell you the truth I enjoyed the film a lot. I want to thank Rando From thearnoldfans for making me watch this film. Now with the news of the reboot happening, I can say that I am excited for this film. But I do wish that Arnold would make some sort of Cameo in the flick. Sure who doesn't want to see Arnold. "X Men Last Stand " Empire magazine spoke to Conan and Red Sonja producer Joe Gatta today, and he had a few revelations to share about the upcoming films. Most importantly, it appears that Brett Ratner is currently off Conan, which he was expected to direct. "We’re currently in the process of hiring a director," he told us. "For the past six months we were discussing the movie with Brett Ratner, and for more timing issues than anything else we had to part ways with Brett.
