PARAMOUNT PICTURES TO OPEN MARTIN SCORSESE’S “ SILENCE ” IN LIMITED RELEASE ON DECEMBER 23, WIDE IN JANUARY 2017 Paramount Pictures announced today that it, in association with Fabrica de Cine and Ai Films, will open Martin Scorsese’s highly anticipated film “SILENCE” in limited release on December 23, followed by a wide release in January 2017. Scorsese, who worked closely with Fabrica de Cine’s Gaston Pavlovich on the making of the film, wrote the screenplay with Jay Cocks (“GANGS OF NEW YORK”), based on the book “Silence” by Shusaku Endo. Stan Lee's Thor Cameo Revealed Stan Lee has had a cameo in every Marvel produced film, and Thor is no different.  We got news from fanboyweb what his cameo will be in the upcoming Thor film. Here’s the description of the particular scene: Thor’s hammer ( Mjolnir ) is found in the middle of a road somewhere inside a crater by the army. The Army try’s to remove it but can’t because it’s way too heavy. They decide to bring in a truck to help. The army men tie Thor’s hammer to the back of the truck with chains hoping to pull it of the road. The truck driver accelerates to pull the Hammer. The fourth installment in the "Pirates" franchise did not previously have a release date.
