BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Ben Affleck Teases Superman / Batman Film

He may not be ready to spill all of Superman / Batman’s secrets just yet, but Ben Affleck , the man who inspired such online vitriol for daring to think he could embody The Dark Knight has at least tried on the Bat suit. And, whilst talking to Entertainment Weekly about the release of Argo on Blu-ray, he did drop a few hints about having seen Zach Snyder’s preparations for shooting the superhero mash-up. Clearly, Snyder’s build up to production has impressed Affleck. “What I’ll say is that I really like Zack. From what I’ve seen of what’s Zack is doing, it’s made me very excited. One of the nice things about being an actor in that movie is they show you all the stuff before anyone else gets to see it. So all the sort of world-creation, and the take on the character and the other characters is really exciting. And at the end of the day, the truth is it’s really directors that make movies work or not – especially these kinds of movies, where it’s about the whole world, and a rising t

How Did Summer 2013 Work Out For Hollywood? You May Be Surprised. By: MattInRC Hollywood's Summer is over, but is it time for them to go back to school? Man Of Steel Review. Brings Superman IntoTthe 21st Century

Man Of Steel Review By: MattInRC The epic and beautiful Man of Steel returns Superman to the big screen and settles a long-standing debate. If you've a fan of the online series Honest Trailers , you know their finest effort ( The Avengers ) laughingly tells audiences that as a result of Marvel's command of the box office, competitor DC has been placed on ' suicide watch .' Who could blame them: after a commercially successful but disappointing Dark Knight Rises and still stinging from the awful Green Lantern , the studio that first brought comic book heroes into the modern era seemed adrift and down for the count. Luckily the release of Man of Steel proves DC still has some fight in them, producing a beautifully-shot and thoroughly-enjoyable effort, even if some character development is lacking. The story of Kal-El/Superman begins on the distant planet of Krypton, which is embroiled in a civil war between the established leadership and the war hero

Action Packed Man Of Steel Trailer

After several moody, tonally Terrence Malick-style teases for Man Of Steel , and then that impressive, grandiose effort more recently, things kick up a notch further on the action stakes with this combat-laden new trailer. There’s a greater chance for big moments (fights, not plot) to be spoiled, so take care, but otherwise… enjoy. While I clean myself up. Launched with another message from Michael “ I WILL FIND HIM !” Shannon’s General Zod as he demands that we Earthlings tell him where Kal-El is hiding, it then segues into a blistering barrage of action scenes as Superman ( Henry Cavill ) faces off against Zod and, in particular in this one, Antje Traue’s Faora, who delivers a chilling threat to our hero: “For every human you save, we will kill a million more…” So if you were wondering whether Zod and Faora would be basically decent types, there’s your answer. Those two (and the Kryptonians they brought with them) are not messing around. Man Of Steel will also find Kal-El tr

New Man Of Steel Character Posters

Though there have been several one-sheets online already, we’ve clearly reached the point in the Man Of Steel promotional campaign where the character posters come striding out. Welcome, then, Supes himself, General Zod and super-dad Jor-El . Even though Jor-El’s presence in the film is traditionally limited – he might be one of the sources of advice to son Kal-El ( Henry Cavill ), but he perishes along with the rest of planet Krypton early in the story – Crowe’s star power is being used to help boost the film. Which, along with the character’s iconic status, explains why he gets his own image here along with the others. Man Of Steel finds young Kal-El growing up on Earth, raised by the kindly Jonathan ( Kevin Costner ) and Martha Kent ( Diane Lane ). Unsure about his place in society thanks to his incredible powers, he chooses at first to hide away, hunted by reporter Lois Lane ( Amy Adams ) who has heard the tales of his feats.
