David Fincher In Talks To Direct Steve Jobs Film

Based on Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography, the film would reteam Fincher with " Social Network " writer Aaron Sorkin and producer Scott Rudin. David Fincher already has tackled one Silicon Valley billionaire in Mark Zuckerberg. Now, the Social Network director is poised to take on the late Steve Jobs for Sony. Fincher is in early talks to helm the untitled film based on Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography of the Apple co-founder, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter . If a deal comes together, the film would reunite the director with Oscar-winning Social Network writer Aaron Sorkin, who recently finished the adaptation, and Social Network producer Scott Rudin. Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady also are producing. Like Zuckerberg, Jobs was a complicated visionary who became a polarizing figure. Under Jobs' watch, Apple revolutionized several businesses, including personal computers, music, computer-generated animation and mobile phones. In the proce

JOBS Review. Films Falls Short In A Lot Of Ways

JOBS Review By: RAMA Today we have RAMA reviewing JOBS for us. Please make sure to LIKE his Facebook page and make sure to follow him on Twitter . This film could have so much potential and I’m not going to lie, I did enjoy some moments, and my goodness, every actor featured in this film looked and probably even behaved almost exactly like the real life characters they portray, especially Ashton Kutcher . I still don’t think Ashton is a great actor but the man sure does resemble Jobs, it’s quite eerie. But JOBS falls short in a lot of ways. It’s a nice effort, you gotta give the filmmakers kudos for trying, but the film falls short. It only takes one person to start a revolution. The extraordinary story of Steve Jobs, the original innovator and ground-breaking entrepreneur who let nothing stand in the way of greatness. The film tells the epic and turbulent story of Jobs as he blazed a trail that changed technology — and the world – forever. Maybe some of you hav

Ashton Kutcher To Play Steve Jobs

Given that this story appeared on April 1, you might be forgiven for thinking that it was all a big joke, but it’s true: Ashton Kutcher is now attached to play Steve Jobs in Joshua Michael Stern’s Jobs. It’s actually not as much of a stretch as you might imagine, especially since Kutcher as he is now bears a resemblance to a younger Jobs. And while he may not exactly boast the most range among his acting generation, he has pulled off a few decent performances, including Spread and his turn in Emilio Estevez’ Bobby. But this will be a new challenge entirely, since Matt Whiteley’s script tracks Jobs from his early bohemian days through his early struggles and eventual triumph at Apple. We hope he’s already practicing his “Just one more thing…” line. Jobs’ life is certainly good fodder for a movie – a driven, ambitious, radical thinker, Jobs was rightly praised for the vision he brought to not only technology but also art, helping the shepherd Pixar’s difficult birth. But he gai

Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd Will Return Next Year

The network will announce the prank show revival's host or hosts during its New Year's Eve telecast. After many months of speculation, the younger-skewing network announced its plans to revive the popular prank series with Ashton Kutcher and his partner Jason Goldberg attached as executive producers once again. MTV will unveil first look footage and announce the series' host --or, more likely, hosts-- during its New Year's Eve telecast on the 31st. The hidden camera series first aired on MTV in 2003, and ran until mid-2007. Everyone from Justin Timberlake to Kanye West to Beyonce Knowles were involved in the televised pranking. Published reports suggest that one episode of the show's second iteration will feature Justin Bieber punking Taylor Swift. Lauren Dolgen, Colin Nash, Kristina Edwards and Jennifer Russakoff are the executives in charge of production for MTV. The news comes three months after Kutcher made his heavily-hyped return to the small screen as

Ashton Kutcher's "Killer" Body Comes From Use Of P90X

Ashton Kutcher's "Killer" Body Comes From Use Of  P90X  Looks like I am (30 days in) not the only one using P90X , so is Ashton Kutcher. And let me be the first to let you know that it works as long as you are dedicated to the system you will see results. In case you're wondering what Ashton works out to at home, it's the P90X system, which also counts Pink as a fan. The P90X system is a series of 12 targeted workouts (including yoga, circuit training, and plyometrics) and a nutrition program that promises to transform your body in three months. Ashton's wife, Demi Moore, first started tweeting that the couple were using P90X last year though she had only done the yoga component of the workout series. It looks like the idea of filming Killers was big motivation for Ashton to get in shape. Shortly after getting his P90X system he tweeted, "stepping up the work outs to 2 a days. time to get serious. I'm so paranoid about doing scenes with my sh

Ashton Kutcher and Jamie Foxx Team Up For Buddy-Cop Movie "Streets on Fire"

Ashton Kutcher and Jamie Foxx Team Up For Buddy-Cop Movie "Streets on Fire" It has been awhile since we had buddy cop movies, last one maybe Rush Hour 3 and this weekend's movie Cop-Out . The buddy cop genre may be making a comeback, however. Ashton Kutcher, via his Katalyst Films shingle, is producing Streets on Fire, a buddy cop action-comedy drama (which one?) with designs to star. His partner? Jamie Foxx. (Maybe they hit it off on the set of Valentine’s Day.) Let’s see here: One black, one white partner. Check. One by the books, one freewheeling partner? Check. And one with facial hair, one without? Check. Ladies and gentlemen: The buddy-cop trifecta! The script, which was on the 2009 Black List, comes from Justin Britt-Gibson, a 27-year-old freelance journalist slash screenwriter who once wrote quite an impressive piece on race relations for the Washington Post. And while I’m sure the script must have been decent if it made the Black List, the logline is typic

Valentine’s Day Movie Review By:Windy

Valentine’s Day Movie Review By:Windy Make sure you stop by and let Windy know that she is doing a great service to all of us film lovers with her reviews. “Valentine’s Day”, directed by Gary Marshall and starring…well…everyone, is a Robert Altman-like film in that it focuses on several different developing stories that are all somehow intertwined. However, the film is light-hearted and not meant to be taken as seriously as an Altman film. Initial reviews of “Valentine’s Day” have not been positive. I, therefore, went into the film with low expectations. To my surprise, the film was entertaining. Julia Fitzpatrick and Dr. Harrison Copeland, played by Jennifer Garner and Patrick Dempsey, have “cutesy” on-screen chemistry. They are believable as a just-in-love goofy-acting couple. They might just be the best matched couple in the movie. Jamie Foxx provides the regular comic relief in the film, with barely a single serious moment in his scenes. He perfectly plays the role of t
