F9: The Fast Saga Directors Cut Own it 9/7 Digital, 9/21 on 4K UHD, Blu-ray & DVD

Universal Pictures has announced that F9 will be released on digital starting on September 7, 2021, and it will arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD a couple weeks later on September 21, 2021. On top of the original theatrical cut from earlier this year, the F9 home video release will also have an extended director’s cut. However, it’s not clear how much longer this cut will be than the director’s cut.  The existence of a director’s cut is rather surprising since filmmaker Justin Lin never really mentioned any drastic changes to what ended up in theaters. So maybe it’s just a marketing ploy to help make up for the box office revenues lost due to the coronavirus pandemic. Perhaps there were a handful of deleted scenes that could easily be added back into the movie, but they don’t exactly change the overall cut of the film very much. We’ll find out soon enough.     Gag Reel  F9: All In – The Fast family invites you to be part of the crew as they give you an intimate look at how F9 pr

His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob ( John Cena , next year’s The Suicide Squad). ALL-STAR VOICE CAST WILL FEATURE  NATASHA LYONNE,  LUDACRIS, STANLEY TUCCI, ALAN CUMMING, GABRIEL IGLESIAS AND SHAQU

First Look: Helen Mirren In Fast 8

Eyebrows cantilevered higher than some bridges (with cars leaping over the gap) when Helen Mirren revealed that she would be part of the cast for the latest Fast & Furious outing. But she wasn't kidding, and now Vin Diesel has taken to Instagram with a picture of his Dominic Toretto and Mirren's mysterious character. Neither Diesel nor Mirren has said anything about what she'll be doing in the film, though her hopes (and ours) were crushed slightly when she recently told Entertainment Weekly that she won't get to drive as part of her small role in the movie. “I wanted to be driving, but unfortunately, I’m not,” she said. “Maybe that will come in the future, in Fast & Furious 12... I’m probably one of the few people on the set who know how to drive a gearshift car. I doubt the Rock knows... But I do. I know how to double declutch.” Let's get #HelOnWheels trending, folks... Fast 8, which is still shooting, includes returning veterans Diesel , Dwayne

First look At Charlize Theron In Fast & Furious 8

Regardless of whether it ends up being called Fast 8, Furious 8 or, in a moment of utter titling madness, &8, the next Fast & Furious film is now shooting. And the team has posted the first look at Charlize Theron 's villain, the mysteriously-named Cipher. Does this mean she's a master technical whizz, security conscious, or is it a comment on the fact that the Fast rogues are usually not all that complicated? We'll find out for sure next year, but Vin Diesel and the gang have been busy, shooting scenes in Iceland, Cuba and New York. The returning likes of Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham, Lucas Black and Nathalie Emmanuel are joined this time around by Scott Eastwood and Kristofer Hivju . Dom and the gang will face their deadliest threat yet from Theron's Cipher, a woman in the deep, dark criminal underworld they first became exposed to in the last film. This time, of course, they won't have Paul Walker

New #Furious8 Poster

Back in January, Vin Diesel did his usual social media promotion duty and put up the first poster from the eighth Fast & Furious film online, which listed it as Fast 8 . He's back with the new image, which appears to switch the title to Furious 8, while also making us wonder if they're just unveiling the full title word by word... We suppose it makes sense to follow the naming standard set by the seventh film, but it does rather crush our dream of future movies simply taking bits of the title and using them (And 9, anyone?) Regardless, Furious 8 (or whatever it ends up being known as over here) has F. Gary Gray directing Vin and the returning regulars (including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Dwayne Johnson) facing off against new villain Charlize Theron in a story that remains a mystery to be discovered a quarter mile at a time. We do know that Kurt Russell's mysterious Mr. Nobody will be back, bringing protege Scott Eastwood along for the ride.

#FASTFURIOUS Will Become A Saga

Universal Pictures is reportedly in the process of seeking approval from the United States and Cuban governments to shoot a portion of FAST 8 in Cuba. FAST 8, will be based in Atlanta, Ga., just like its predecessors, other shooting locations that they’re eyeing include New York, Russia and Iceland. FAST 8 will be directed by F. Gary Gray and it hits theaters April 14, 2017 Please Leave A Comment-

Since He Cant Have Justin Lin, He Wants Rob Cohen To Direct #FURIOUS8

Back to the matter of 8 … First and most importantly is the SCRIPT, which has to be great. Hopefully the writer will deliver something within the next two weeks… before my Witch Hunter press tour begins. There has always been the desire by Paul to have Rob direct one more, this is what fueled my campaign… I believe that he can and would reset the franchise nicely, returning to what was the core of the film in the beginning… racing. He would also handle the Brian O’connor issue with integrity, given that he and David Ayer were the ones who initially created that beloved character in the first place. Ultimately we all want the best film to honor what we have created and what you the audience has adopted as your favorite franchise. I will leave this matter in the studios hands for a moment while I release The Last Witch Hunter and start production of the long awaited “Xander Returns”. Again, we make these films with Our hearts. CinemaCon: 'Furious 8' to be Released in 2017

Learn why the announcement comes as no surprise. Story by Matt Cummings Furious 7 has been an unqualified hit, no matter how you slice it. The death of Actor Paul Walker in 2013 nearly ended the franchise as Universal struggled to re-shoot portions of the film with Director James Wan. When it finally released on April 3rd, the high-flying car caper drew huge crowds but not overly positive critical reviews. In fact, fans themselves could make a claim that it's the weakest since the original trilogy. Even if such suggestions spark fierce debate among moviegoers, the film has surpassed the $1.1 billion mark, and has made over $300 million domestically. That's a win no matter how you slice. Part of its success was the film's poignant ending, showing Walker's character Brian O'Conner driving off into the sunset as his partner Dom (Vin Diesel) looked on. And even with that teary-eyed ending, its amazing performance dictated that a sequel be considered.

#FURIOUS7 Premiere Highlight Reel

Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Furious 7 . James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black . They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russell . Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell return to produce the film written by Chris Morgan. www.furious7.com Please Leave A Comment-

Movie Review: Furious 7

Filled with high-octane stunts and likable additions, Furious 7 roars to a tearful tribute. WARNING: This review contains SPOILERS. Review by Matt Cummings It goes without saying that Furious 7 has been on the minds of every moviegoer since Actor Paul Walker tragically died in 2013. Among the many questions raised was how Director James Wan would find closure for a character that wasn't supposed to die. With a frantic script re-write resulting in an extension of the release date now in its rear-view mirror, audiences this weekend get to judge whether Universal made the right decision to move forward instead of cancelling the project as some have suggested. And while it's not as effective as other entries, this one will delight audiences with its purely over-the-top action, new characters, and a touching tribute to Walker. With Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) defeated in London, Team Furious doesn't realize that Shaw's meaner brother Deckard (Jason Statham) h
