Bad Boys For Life Will Be Released In 2018

The saga of a third (and potentially fourth) Bad Boys movie continues, with some actual good news. Joe Carnahan remains attached to wrangle Will Smith 's Detective Mike Lowery and Martin Lawrence 's Detective Marcus Burnett back into action for a third dose of action and quips, and the third movie now has a new title: Bad Boys For Life . One thing it doesn't have any more is a 2017 release date: this movie has had a history of missing potential dates, most recently shifting from February 17 next year to June 2. Now Sony has pencilled in January 12, 2018 as the next potential spot. Carnahan was brought in last year after several previous script drafts tried to generate a workable movie, but nothing came together, a process also not helped by Will Smith's busy schedule. Now, though, it looks like Bad Boys For Life (a reference to a line in Bad Boys II) might finally make an appearance. As for that floating, potential fourth movie? It took aim at a July 2019 relea

#BADBOYS3 Has Started Pre Production

Joe Carnahan released the first image from his upcoming film Bad Boys 3 on his Twitter page today. From the image we can see he is in the previsualization stage of the film. Not much else is known about the film. But it has been reported Martin Lawrence & Will Smith will be back. Why make the film if the two don't return. ...whatcha gonna do when they come for you? pic.twitter.com/lseTbCN3SF — Joe Carnahan (@carnojoe) February 10, 2016 Please Leave A Comment-

Joe Carnahan In Talks to Direct Bad Boys 3

Buddy-cop threequel is what Joe’s gonna do. By Brandon Wolfe Bad Boys is essentially the Before Sunrise of action-comedy franchises, given the unusual length of time between each installment. The original came out a whopping 20 years ago. Its sequel followed eight years after that. And now, after all this time, a third film is just now starting to come together. A script has been written by David Guggenheim, who wrote Safe House , and Sacramento’s own Joe Carnahan, director of The Grey , is in talks to direct. The sequel hopes to reunite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Sony intends to push the project very quickly into development so that it could potentially fill the slot Smith will have open immediately following the currently-shooting Suicide Squad . Michael Bay, director of the previous two films, looks to sit this one out, which can only be a good thing. Discuss this story with fellow SJF fans on Facebook . On Twitter, f

Bad Boys 3 Has Found It's Screenwriter

The mantra behind Sony Pictures’ recent restructure that brings in Michael De Luca as production co-president was to make higher quality tent poles. That means spending money on hot writers. I’m told the studio is in early talks with David Guggenheim to script Bad Boys 3 , which the studio hopes will bring back Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as fast-talking undercover cops who solve crimes with spectacular action, gunplay, and harsh language. Guggenheim scripted Safe House , the Denzel Washington-Ryan Reynolds action thriller. Bad Boys II was released a decade ago, and the sequel grossed $273 million on a $160 million budget. Michael Bay directed the first two, but he doesn’t seem to be involved, at least at this point. Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the pic. Sony is trying to do this with the original cast, which makes it different from the other big franchise reboots in the works, Men In Black and Ghostbusters. Those are being rebooted. With Ghostbusters, that has a lot to do w

Is Bad Boys 3 Going To Happen?

Is Bad Boys 3 Going To Happen? Who isn't a fan of the Bad Boys films? Well we got an update on what might or might not be happening.  And please please do not make this film in 3D, I know it's trendy right now to make films in 3D, but not this film.  "It's real realistic," the comedian revealed , addressing rumors that he'll re-team with Bay and the former Fresh Prince once again. "We've talked about 'Bad Boys 3.' " "Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third installment of a hot movie like 'Bad Boys,' you have to take notice," Lawrence explained. "I met with Michael Bay, and he said he's onboard too — so it's real." Writer Peter Craig is putting together a script for Columbia, and the "Bad Boys" team is ready. Now all they need to do is get the green light from Jerry Bruckheimer then it is really real. Please Leave A Comment- Source- MTV

Wanda and Sheneneh To Get Their Own Film. Remember Them?

Wanda and Sheneneh To Get Their Own Film. Remember Them? It all started with a skit on the BET Awards Show and now it's turning into a film. I did enjoy Wanda and Sheneneh when they were on their respected shows, but to make a movie with both of them. Wow unheard of. Screen Gems has picked up the rights to Sheneneh And Wanda, a comedy about two African-American ladies who start robbing banks. Oh, and the ladies in question will be played, in full-on drag, by Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence. Both Sheneneh and the cross-eyed Wanda have been knocking about for years – Lawrence came up with Sheneneh on his self-titled TV show, while Foxx played Wanda during his In Living Color days – but nobody had the bright idea of combining the two in an actual, honest-to-goodness movie until June of this year, when the two graced the BET Awards by making a fake trailer for a fake movie, Skank Robbers, which united the duo. Reaction to the trailer – which actually has a couple of decent lines in it,

Bad Boys 3 Is In The Works

Bad Boys 3 Is In The Works Bad Boys Bad Boys whatcha gonna Do? They are going to make a third movie. Three times is a charm. I enjoyed the Bad Boys Movies, But a third what are they going to come up with?Columbia Pictures is developing a third installment of the high-octane "Bad Boys" franchise, tapping Peter Craig to pen the screenplay. One of the Best Scenes in the Movie Warning Explicit Language on Clip: The hope is to have a script that would reunite director Michael Bay , producer Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence . At this point, with the project in the early stages, none has a deal to return. The "Boys" movies feature Smith and Lawrence as Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, caught up in cases involving car chases and explosions. The first "Boys," released in 1995, helped launch Bay as a director and Smith as an action star even though it was not a fire-stamped blockbuster -- it grossed $66 million domestica
