BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

House Of Cards Sixth Season Will Focus On Claire Underwood

In good news for the remaining cast, and particularly the crew of Netflix's political drama House Of Cards , the streaming service has reached an agreement to continue shooting the show and wrapping the series up with an abbreviated sixth season, which will focus on Robin Wright 's Claire Underwood, while sidestepping the need for Kevin Spacey 's Frank Underwood to appear. The move comes after claims of sexual misconduct were made against Spacey, claims that have multiplied and forced Netflix and production company Media Rights Capital to halt production on the show and potentially to cancel it outright. Now, though, Netflix boss Ted Sarandos made the announcement at the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference in New York that Cards will be back in truncated form. "We were really excited we could get to an agreement for the conclusion of the show," he said, adding that he was pleased that the 370 direct staff members and the many more who work on the sh

House Of Cards Is Over

Production, on the show, according to Deadline, has now been halted indefinitely. “MRC and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House Of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew," reads the statement from the companies. There's no indication yet of what this will mean for Season 6's planned 2018 debut. The revelations about the behaviour of powerful people in the film and TV industry continue to reverberate. And in the wake of recent allegations about, and statements from, Kevin Spacey , Netflix has decided to end House Of Cards after the upcoming sixth season. And now, Netflix has announced that the decision has been made to pull the plug on the series Spacey has starred in since 2013. While both Netflix and production partners Media Rights Capital haven't specified if the two are directly connected, they did say that they were worried about the issue. "

Neve Campbell Joins Dwayne Johnson In Skyscraper

Having spent the last couple of years navigating the thorny politics of House Of Cards , Neve Campbell is clearly ready for some more straightforward action. She's now willing to risk life and limb (on screen at least), as she's joining Dwayne Johnson in action thriller Skyscraper . The new movie reunites The Rock with his Central Intelligence director Rawson Marshall Thurber. Johnson is playing a former FBI hostage rescue team commander (and war veteran, just in case his heroic credentials were in any doubt) who has segued into advising on security for giant skyscrapers. While on assignment in China, he discovers that one of the towering buildings – seen as the tallest, yet safest building in the world – is suddenly an inferno and someone is framing him for the fire. Now on the run, he has to clear his name, track down the real culprit and rescue his family, who are trapped inside. And, one presumes, stop Tom Cruise climbing it. Deadline's story doesn't specify

The fourth season of " House of Cards " hits Netflix on March 4. And in news that will make my son happy, more episodes of "Power Rangers Dino Charge" and "Dinotrux" will also be added to Netflix. Lots of titles are leaving Netflix in March. If you haven't watched " Johnny Dangerously " starring Michael Keaton, what are you waiting for? It goes offline on March 1. New #HouseOfCards Season 4 Tease

The hitherto gripping House Of Cards is back in March to give Machiavellianism a bad name. The Netflix Beltway drama/thriller will be looking to emulate the likes of Homeland in rediscovering its best form after a slight season 3 wobble. There’s no sign of the First Lady, Claire Underwood ( Robin Wright ), here – for reasons that will be obvious if you’ve seen season 3, but Frank Underwood ( Kevin Spacey ) and his faithful sidekick Doug Stamper ( Michael Kelly ) are seen breaking ground in the Shallow Grave sense of the phrase somewhere on the Presidential campaign trail. Washington D.C.’s Dick Dastardly and Muttley will no doubt be more co-dependent than ever, after the climax of the third season left them both with yet more skeletons in their already-brimming closets. This could be a campaign to remember. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Empire

Netflix Ratings for Original Series Revealed

One of the great mysteries of modern television is finally solved...sort of. Story by Matt Cummings It's true that Netflix has become not only an important player in the changing viewing habits of Americans but also a household name with incredible financial value. But the streaming company has always been a mystery in regards to the real numbers it draws, especially in the realm of its Original Series releases. To say Netflix has been less than forthright with that data is an understatement, becoming one of the closest-held secrets in modern television. But, a recent survey by San Diego-based Luth Research has shed a least a little light on this, assembling a wide swath of US Netflix subscribers to determine the most popular programs on the service. Luth looked at viewing across a wide variety of devices, but not televisions or gaming consoles. As reported exclusively by Variety, the survey reveals much about what people are watching, as well as who might be cha

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Sequel To Be Released On Netflix & Theaters On Same Day

Netflix  has just contracted with The Weinstein Company ’s Harvey Weinstein to release its first major feature film,  Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend . Sort of a sequel to the Ang Lee-directed 2000 martial arts epic that won the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, the film will premiere exclusively on Netflix, and it will simultaneously have a berth in IMAX theaters. The release is August 28, 2015. While Hollywood studios and exhibitors endlessly spar over shortening the window between theatrical and home viewing on feature films, you just knew that someone was going to take a bona fide movie, bypass theaters and go right to home viewing. Not surprisingly, it’s Netflix , already a disruptive force with series including House Of Cards and Orange Is The New Black . Please Leave A Comment- Source- Deadline

New Trailer For Orange Is The New Black Season 2

The show returns to our small screens this year for a second season. Watch the new trailer after the Jump... Orange Is The New Black adapts Piper Kerman’s memoir of her time spent in a women’s prison on drug smuggling charges. Taylor Schilling plays Piper, a character loosely based on Kerman, who reports to Litchfield prison to serve her term, worried about what she’ll encounter. Through the first season, she comes to terms with life inside, meets a variety of fellow inmates and manoeuvres their various, shifting power structures. But even as she learned more about her new world, there were still moments she felt like an outsider. Especially when her ex-girlfriend, Alex ( Laura Prepon ) showed up on the block… Orange’s cast includes
