#TheDefenders Teaser Video "Midland Circle Security Elevator B"

The anonymously named " Midland Circle Security Elevator B " is, of course, a nod to the dodgy corporation we first met in Daredevil's second season, and the people on the footage are Matt Murdock ( Charlie Cox ), Jessica Jones ( Krysten Ritter ), Luke Cage ( Mike Colter ) and Danny "Iron Fist" Rand ( Finn Jones ), all looking like they've just been in a brawl. There are some interesting touches here – why is Danny seemingly more exhausted than the others, for example, and we guess Matt didn't have his costume along with him – and little clues leading to viral info. The address in the top left corner leads to a site for the New York Bulletin (where Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page works), itself a treasure trove of other sites based around the shared superhero universe. Oh, and when Jessica smashes the camera, the footage halts at 8:18:20:17, or to translate from American dating protocols, 18 August 2017, suggesting we have a release date for the

His efforts are not welcomed by powerful businessman Wilson Fisk ( Vincent D'Onofrio ) and others whose interests collide with those of Daredevil. Though Murdock's day job portrays a man who believes in the criminal justice system, his alter ego suggests otherwise, as he takes the law into his own hands to protect his Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities. Sigourney Weaver To Play The Villian In @netflix Defenders

Marvel's TV side had a lot of news to announce at this weekend's New York Comic-Con. Along with a new teaser trailer for Iron Fist came the revelation that all four Defenders – Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand – will be facing off against a baddie played by Sigourney Weaver. No details were released as to what character Weaver will be playing, or how her nefarious plans will roll out, but it's certainly an exciting piece of casting. “Marvel is honored to have an actress of her caliber and status join what is already our biggest show ever!,” said Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb. “She is by definition a class act.” With Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter and more recent recruit Finn Jones preparing to shoot the Defenders miniseries that will unite their characters, the team-up should be on Netflix next year, though there was no announcement was made at the con. As for Iron Fist, that will arrive on 17 March. Want more from the Defenders unive

Television Review: #Daredevil Season 2

Netflix scores high marks for their sophomore superhero series. Review by Matt Cummings Ask anyone these days if we're suffering from too much superhero stuff (television, movies, t-shirts, images on soup), and you're likely to get a wide variety of answers. The truth is, Hollywood is still trying to figure this thing out itself, falling loudly in some cases (see Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ). Even Netlfix has failed (see the boring Jessica Jones ). But if there's one thing being done right, it's Daredevil, as season 2's entry has proven with its terrific storytelling, stellar performances, and visceral action. Set a few months after the events of last season, Lawyer Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and his partner Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) have been growing their law firm with an eclectic mix of clients. But that's all about to change when a shadowy figure begins to murder rival gangs, leaving destruction in his wake. Determined to protect Hel

TV Review: #DaredevilSeason2 Badass To The Bone!

Badass to the bone! RAMA is back with another review. Please keep in mind that the following review of Daredevil season 2 is based solely on my having watched the first few episodes, I haven’t seen this new season in its entirety, yet but I’m stoked enough to at least start sharing you my thoughts about it. Just like you, I too was a huge fan of season 1, and my goodness if you think Vincent D’Onofrio’s villainous character, Wilson Fisk, was brutal and merciless, wait till you get a load of everyone’s favorite anti-hero, Frank Castle/Punisher, played by “The Walking Dead” alum, Jon Bernthal In season 1, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) was having a rough start, getting used to this whole vigilante, it was a trial-and-error work-in-progress learning along the way type of work. And now, in season 2, just when Matt thinks he’s getting used to bringing order back to the city, fact of the matter is Wilson Fisk’s absence creates vacuum, every gang in town is fighting to fill the void. But

Daredevil’s second season brings back Charlie Cox’s blind lawyer-turned-vigilante superhero Matt Murdock, Deborah Ann Woll as legal secretary Karen Page, Elden Henson as law partner Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Vincent D’Onofrio as crime kingpin Wilson Fisk. We also know that Scott Glenn will be back as Matt’s grumpy mentor Stick. #Daredevil Season 2 Poster

For all the current focus on the second Marvel/Netflix series to come down the pipe – Jessica Jones – there’s still more Daredevil to think about. The Man Without Fear will be back on our screens next year and Marvel is reminding the world with a new poster. The image, which uses concept art from the show and harkens back to the comic book itself, was put online by Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada and will be handed out to attendees at the New York Comic-Com, which kicks off tomorrow and runs through the weekend. #ElodieYung Cast As #Elektra In 'Marvel’s Daredevil'

Elodie Yung Cast as Elektra in the Netflix Original Series 'Marvel’s Daredevil' The mystery woman from Matt Murdock's past to debut in 2016! Yung will play Elektra, a mysterious woman from Matt Murdock’s past whose dangerous and exotic ways may be more than he can handle. The first season of “Marvel’s Daredevil” made reference to Elektra, but now Yung will portray one of Daredevil's fan-favorite characters. Elektra marks the most recent major addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as she will join Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle in the upcoming season of the Netflix Original Series “Marvel’s Daredevil.” “After a worldwide search, we found in Elodie the perfect actress to embody both Elektra’s impressive and deadly physicality, as well as her psychological complexity,” said Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “Paired with Charlie as Matt Murdock, the two will bring one of the most beloved and tumultuous comic book relationships to

Season 2 Could Be DAREDEVIL VS. THE PUNISHER

Nerdist  is reporting that co-showrunner, Marco Ramirez referred to season 2 as DAREDEVIL VS. THE PUNISHER . They even suggested you to read Marvel Comics’ limited series, “ Daredevil vs. Punisher: Means & Ends ” So is Punisher the big bad villain in this new season because he kills and Daredevil had vowed not to? Perhaps. But now that Kingpin is away in prison, that leads to the city’s other villains to rise and wreak havoc, filling the void and Punisher might be motivated to just end all of them. I guess philosophical clash, much like Batman V Superman, would be the thing that gets Daredevil and Punisher at odds. But what about Elektra and Bullseye? They’re not confirmed yet for this season 2 but it’d be interesting to see how it all plays out when those two enter the picture. Please Leave A Comment-

TV Review: Marvel's Daredevil Season 1

The horned one goes from Affleck to Netflix. Review by Brandon Wolfe Daredevil, Marvel’s “man without fear,” got off to a fairly disastrous live-action start with an eponymous theatrical film in 2003 starring Ben Affleck. That film, an overly melodramatic, atrociously clichéd instance of pre- Iron Man superhero detritus (albeit one with a killer Evanescence song), was so poorly received that it spawned neither a sequel nor a reboot (even 2005’s horrible Fantastic Four got both), the rights languishing in limbo for a decade before reverting back to Marvel Studios, their rightful owner. Rather than inject Daredevil into its intricate cinematic tapestry, Marvel, always eager to expand their reign in the bid for complete pop-cultural domination, went a different route, opting instead to launch Daredevil as a binge-friendly Netflix event series, the first of several it has planned. While it might have initially seemed as though such a significant character, one who once anchored
