BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

The Gilmore Girls Returning To Netflix

THR is reporting The Gilmore Girls are returning to the small screen. Netflix is in negotiations to revive the beloved series with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and original stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as mother-daughter pairing Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. According to multiple sources, Netflix is looking to approach the revival as four 90-minute movies as opposed to a 10-episode series. The Warner Bros. dramedy, which launched in 2000, has been a strong performer for the streaming service. Gilmore initially ran for seven seasons and 153 episodes on The WB/CW, six of those under Sherman-Palladino before she exited following a contract dispute with the studio. A Netflix revival would be Sherman-Palladino's opportunity to not only return to her own series but also to have the final word. Speaking candidly about the latter during a reunion panel at the Austin TV Festival earlier this year, Sherman-Palladino noted: "It's always a bummer when you don't

Movie Review: 'Max'

The formulaic dog story Max should be caged. Review by Matt Cummings In Director/Writer Boaz Yakin's Max , an army service dog is sent home to live with the family of the fallen soldier Kyle Wincott (Robbie Amell). At first, the surviving son Justin (Josh Wiggins) doesn't want the Belgian Malinois around, but his grieving parents Ray and Pamela (Thomas Haden-Church and Lauren Graham) decide to take Max in. As the parents struggle to incorporate Max into their home, Justin gets some much needed help to re-train the dog from his friends Carmen (Mia Xitlali) and Chuy (Dejon LaQuake). But when one of Kyle's fellow soldiers Tyler (Luke Kleintank) returns home to sell stolen weapons to a Mexican cartel, Max, Justin, and his friends must band together to root out the evil and win the day. Max is one of the worst films I've seen this year, filled with every stereotypical subplot imaginable and doing none of it very well. There's the grieving family who do

#Maxmovie Trailer Is Here Starring @RobbieAmell

As American Sniper proved a monster hit at the US box office, director Boaz Yoakin and the team behind Max must have been counting their blessings. Because this one combines inspirational military behaviour, a cute dog and a troubled teen all wrapped up in one mostly-–easy–to–digest package. The Max of the film is the dog – a working Marine pooch that has been serving in Afghanistan alongside his handler, Kyle ( Robbie Amell ). But when Kyle is killed in action, a shell-shocked Max is shipped off back home to recuperate and learn to live without him. Which is where Kyle’s family come in, and particularly his bolshie little brother Justin ( Josh Wiggins ). See, Josh is looking for a little direction in his life and when it’s discovered that no-one can work with Max given his PTSD, Justin is roped in to try and reach out to the dog. We’d say you can guess what’s coming next, but the trailer pretty much spells that out, and we don't mean it goes all Cujo. How you approach th
