Ad Astra "Moon Rover" Clip

20th Century Fox has released a special preview of the intense, action-filled “Moon Rover” sequence from AD ASTRA , coming to theaters on September 20, 2019. Starring Brad Pitt, AD ASTRA is a paranoid thriller in space that follows Roy McBride (Pitt) on a mission across an unforgiving solar system to uncover the truth about his missing father and his doomed expedition that now, 30 years later, threatens the universe. Director James Gray (THE LOST CITY OF Z, THE IMMIGRANT) and director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema (INTERSTELLAR, DUNKIRK) researched actual images of the Moon from the Apollo lunar missions to ensure an authentic look that will surely be breathtaking on the big screen. The Walt Disney Studios ANNOUNCES UPDATED FILM RELEASE SCHEDULE

The Walt Disney Studios has unveiled its upcoming slate following the recent acquisition of the Fox film studios, including changes to previously dated films and a number of major additions. After kicking off with the record-setting success of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame , The Walt Disney Studios’ 2019 summer slate includes Disney’s Aladdin on May 24, Fox’s Dark Phoenix on June 7, Pixar’s Toy Story 4 on June 21, Fox’s Stuber on July 12, and Disney’s The Lion King on July 19. Fox 2000’s The Art of Racing in the Rain moves up to Aug. 9, and Fox Searchlight’s Ready or Not will release on Aug. 23, while three films move to later dates: Ad Astra (9/20/19), The New Mutants (4/3/20), and Artemis Fowl (5/29/20). The Studios’ 2019 slate rounds out with Fox’s The Woman in the Window on Oct. 4 and Ford V. Ruth Negga Joins Brad Pitt In Ad Astra

Oscar-nominated actress Ruth Negga will star with Brad Pitt in New Regency's Ad Astra , James Gray's upcoming sci-fi epic according to THR . Tommy Lee Jones also is attached to the project, which is described as an adventure film about one man’s journey across a lawless and unforgiving solar system to find his missing father, a renegade scientist who poses a threat to all of mankind. Negga's role is being kept under wraps for now. Gray will direct the feature film from a script he co-wrote with Ethan Gross. New Regency, 20th Century Fox and Bona Film Group are financing the pic. Fox will distribute in the U.S. and internationally in every market except Greater China, where Bona Film Group will distribute. Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are producing under their Plan B banner with RT Features’ Rodrigo Teixeira, Keep Your Head Productions’ Anthony Katagas and Gray. Mad River’s Marc Butan and RT Features’ Lourenco Sant’Anna and Sophie Mas are executive prod
