Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment brings Hugh Jackman ’s celebrated seventeen-year run as Wolverine to a close when the box office phenomenon Logan arrives on Digital HD on May 16 and 4K Ultra HD™, Blu-ray™ and DVD May 23. Sir Patrick Stewart (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Star Trek: The Next Generation), Stephen Merchant (Hello Ladies, The Office), Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) and newcomer Dafne Keen join Jackman in the iconic character’s final chapter, directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine, Walk the Line). In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are upended when a young mutant (Dafne Keen) arrives, being pursued by da

Movie Review: #LOGAN I'm about to geek out

Bear with me, I'm about to geek out, but won't give up any spoilers. I thought it was great! I'm a big enough of a fan that I'd probably enjoy any mutant related movie they come out with, but not so die hard that I'm critical about deviations from the comics. Review by: Rob Mateer So my opinion probably isn't very objective. I heard a few people mention that the franchise is starting to run out of ideas and a 3rd Wolverine movie is getting old, but that's just something a non-fan or someone who didn't know the comics would say. The Mutant storyline for Marvel has gone on for decades and is probably their most popular story arc. The X-Men are what made me switch from D.C. to Marvel as a kid. I stopped collecting comics right when the Reavers, Mr. Sinister, and Genosha were introduced in the X Men. Supposedly, this is Hugh Jackman's last time playing Wolverine, so it's kind of fitting for me that he's ending his portrayal of the role with

Boyd Holbrook To Play Main Villain, Donald Pierce In Logan

The haul of new information and imagery about the new Wolverine film – which we now know to be titled Logan – is building by the day. Director James Mangold and his team have been adding cryptic pictures to the movie's Instagram account , with the latest revealing that Boyd Holbrook 's villain in the film, pictured above, is Donald Pierce. See all the images after the Jump... In the Marvel comics where he's cropped up in X-Men and other stories, Pierce is a cyborg with ties to The Hellfire Club. He's also known for creating the cybernetic army known as the Reavers (which may or may not crop up in Logan) . While there's every chance that elements of his backstory will be shifted and twisted for the movie, it's at least more of a clue as to what, or who might be causing problems for Hugh Jackman's main man. Other images have been a little less info-packed, but no less effective, including the gruesome remains of what happens when someone

Third Wolverine Movie Titled "Logan" & First Poster

Hugh Jackman is about to hang up his claws. The actor will soon be appearing for the very last time as the most iconic X-Man for a third Wolverine solo movie, with James Mangold back in the director’s chair after The Wolverine. It had been going under the snappy working title of Untitled Wolverine Film. But now we know the official title: Logan .  X-Men fans praying for an R-rated movie will be pleased to see an F-bomb arrives very early on. Mangold also later revealed the first poster. Intriguingly, the script also offered something of a mission statement for the film within the very Shane Black-y stage directions, which seem to set itself apart from the modern superhero template. Here’s what’s written, in case you can’t quite see it in that image: “Now might be a good time to talk about the ‘fights’ described in the next 100 or so pages. Basically, if you’re on the make for a hyper choreographed, gravity defying, city-block destroying CG fuckathon, this ain’t your movie.

Final #WOLVERINE Movie To Be Based On "Old Man Logan" Comic Book Run

Via Popcorn Talk , Marvel Movie News said that the next new WOLVERINE solo movie, which will mark Hugh Jackman ’s final outing as Wolverine, will have its story inspired by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven’s 2008 eight-issue comic, “ Old Man Logan ” which is set in an alternate universe, 50 years in the future where world’s supervillains team up to destroy all of the world’s superheroes. No confirmation yet, so file that one under rumor for now. Michael Green (“Blade Runner 2″, “Green Lantern”) will write the script for the third WOLVERINE solo movie which is going to be directed once again by James Mangold (“The Wolverine”) and yes, Hugh Jackman will reprise his iconic role, and this will be the final time he’ll play this iconic mutant. Green is collaborating with Mangold on the script. WOLVERINE 3 hits theaters March 3, 2017. Please Leave A Comment- Source- Ramascreen

Could Christian Bale Star In Travis McGee?

James Mangold , who directed Bale in "3:10 to Yuma," is directing the adaptation of the John D. MacDonald book. Leonardo DiCaprio and his Appian Way banner are producing. The talks with Bale are in the very earliest of stages and the studio has not made him an offer for the role. But he discussed the role with Mangold, who directed him in 2007’s 3:10 to Yuma, and sources say he is keen to do it. The script is based on MacDonald’s 1964 mystery novel The Deep Blue Good-by. DiCaprio was at one point poised to star in the adaptation. Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR

Hugh Jackman To Return For Another Wolverine Film

Twentieth Century Fox has begun negotiations with James Mangold to return for another installment of The Wolverine , with Hugh Jackman bringing back his signature character with the razor sharp adamantium hooks. This comes after The Wolverine played very strongly overseas, enough to now sit as the second highest grossing X-Men film of all time. The film has grossed $413 million worldwide, with $132 million domestic and $280 million in international revenue. Here’s where it is right now. Mangold is making a deal to write the treatment, with X-Men franchise matriarch Lauren Shuler Donner producing. The storyline is being kept under tight wraps. I think Mangold did a bang up job on his first superhero film. When I met him at Comic-Con San Diego, he said he tried to veer from the usual superhero formula–if hero doesn’t succeed, world is doomed–and instead make it a character-driven storyline. There were plenty of action pieces, samurai swordplay and reasons for Logan to work up that f

8 New Images From The Wolverine

Eight new images from The Wolverine are here thanks to EW . Viper , as you may have guessed, is the lady in green, and she's played by Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy's Svetlana Khodchenkova . With a name like that, she's not going to be an all-out good 'un, and so it proves with director James Mangold describing her character as "snakelike". "She likes to play with toxins," he adds. ''Viper views Logan like a great hunter might view hunting a lion in his quarry. There's kind of an admiration, a desire to destroy and a desire to consume and to have and to hold.'' Then there's Yukio , who's altogether friendlier to Wolverine, but by no means less dangerous. Rila Fukushima plays the anime-styled character, who makes friends with The Man Formerly Known As James Howlett and forms what Mangold calls "a unique relationship". As for the plot, that's best explained by X-producer Hutch Parker, who to

More Wolverine Set Photos

Many film directors / producers / actors / best boys are tweeting teasing images and subtle hints to their upcoming productions these days, including Marc Webb with his enigmatic instagrams and here below, James Mangold with something resembling a still a high budget version of Springwatch, but in reality far more Wolverine -y. Posted to the web with the words "A production snap from shooting a wood chopping scene in Omishima. We found an eight inch caterpillar that morning." it reveals that not only will there be a wood-chopping scene in the film - no prizes as to what he'll use to chop wood - but also that there are bumper-sized bugs on Japanese beaches. It's not, it's fair enough to say, the most scintillating 'reveal' there's ever been, but with The Wolverine being such a highly anticipated Marvel outing, and no trailer to speak of as yet, we're going to have to take what we can get, such as these five other images after the Jump..

Knight And Day International Trailer

Knight And Day International Trailer Knight & Day is going to end up being the sleeper hit of the summer, but I have a feeling this movie is going to end up blowing peoples expectations away. I think the movie looks great! It looks like it has a great mix of action and comedy. And think what you will about Tom Cruise... he is my favorite actor in Hollywood and looks great in this movies. Knight and Day centers on a lonely woman ( Diaz ) whose seemingly harmless blind date suddenly turns her life upside-down when a super spy ( Cruise ) takes her on a violent worldwide journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source. Maggie Grace is playing Diaz's sister, who is getting married, excited that Diaz will take the place of their late father and walk her down the aisle. Please Leave A Comment-
