TV Recap: WALKING DEAD S05E16: "CONQUER"

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD S05E16: "CONQUER" It's been a long season full of heartbreak, and now the finale is upon us. Rumors have been swirling for weeks that we're going to lose yet another beloved cast member. Fan have feared for Daryl, and personally I've feared for Glenn, those little nods to baseball bats have been almost too much. But I'm really worried about Abraham, he bites the big one in the comics too. Who lives, who dies. Lets find out. Morgan sleeps in a car that's seen better days. It's been awhile since we've seen Morgan. He looks up at a lucky rabbit's foot and smiles. Around a small fire, Morgan makes his meal. A man approaches with a gun. He thinks Morgan's breakfast looks good. Morgan asks what the W on his forehead means. He gives Morgan a little history lesson. He likes Morgan. He doesn't usually get to chat with the new people he meets. He sees new people often, but its usually when his group is overwhelming ano

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD S05E15 "TRY"

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD S05E15 "TRY" By: Suepafly The walkers have been freshly fed. It's dark in Deanna's house, candles light the room. She plays her son's awful run mix. The loud beats fill the quiet room as she morns his loss. Carol makes a casserole and tries to write a note, but can't quite find the words as she watches Judith on the video monitor. Sam peeks in her windows. Sasha watches from her post. She can't quite concentrate though. A walker shambles close. Spencer turns off the noise. There's a knock at the door. The walker continues its pace. Carol left the casserole, with a note saying that they're sorry for their loss on Deanna's doorstep. Deanna takes the note, leaves the casserole. She burns the note in front of her husband and son. The walker makes it to the walls of Alexandria. Sasha finally takes the shot from her tower. Outside, Daryl uses an arrow and takes out another. Aaron points out that ther

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD S05E14 "SPEND"

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD S05E14 "SPEND" By: Suepafly Alexandria is a quiet place, and Father Gabriel finally makes an appearance. Have we seen him since the group arrived? He's got a nice little chapel, not as nice as his previous one, but also without all the shameful history. Rosemary leaves him a nice basket of strawberries as a welcome, and he rips the pages from the bible in his anger. Maybe rather than worrying about Daryl, the group should have spent more time worrying about Father Gabriel. Daryl has a new hog between his legs, and he's headed out with Aaron following. Noah wants to join the building crew. He wants to make sure that the walls stay up, and Reg may not always be around. Long term goals are never a good thing, back away from those aspirations Noah! Reg understands and appreciates Noah's planning though. He makes a note in his pocket notebook. Like his wife he wants to keep record of everything. He tears the papers from the book, and

TV Recap: #WALKINGDEAD S05E11 RECAP: THE DISTANCE

WALKING DEAD S05E11 RECAP: THE DISTANCE By: Suepafly The group is still in the barn, they're readying themselves when Maggie and Sasha return with Aaron. Daryl looks to make sure that they weren't follow. The girls disarmed Aaron before he arrived. He tries to approach Rick, but he stops when the weapons are raised. He remains with his hands up. Aaron has come to audition the group, though audition is the wrong word. They aren't a dance group. Aaron is part of a nearby community, and he thinks that Rick's group could be a valuable addition. He asks Sasha to hand over his pack. He has pictures of the community. He can't force the group, but ask that they follow him on their own. Inside are pictures of the high steel walls. They can offer safety. He tells Rick that they're strong, and should the group join they will be even stronger. Aaron moves on, telling him to look at the next picture, on inside of the gates. Rick puts down the pictures without looking

TV Recap: #WalkingDead "What Happened And What's Going On"

TV Recap: Walking Dead "What Happened And What's Going On" By: Suepafly The long hiatus is finally over, and one of our most beloved show is back. Beth's death rocked the midseason finale, but don't think for a moment that our group of survivors are safe. There were an awful lot secondary cast members, and gulp, one main cast member (GLENN! Steven Yeun) at Stalker Walker Con the weekend before last. Let's hope that doesn't spell the end for them. Dirt is moved, and the group mourns. A body is laid to rest, but that's not the end for the rest of the group. Life goes on, and the next step of the journey begins. Beth risked it all, paid the ultimate price for Noah. Beth wanted to get Noah back home, and Rick intends to follow through. There's real potential for where they're headed, and its the only hope they have with the dreams of ending the apocalypse in DC exposed as a lie. It's a long trip, but it could pay off hugely. The group l

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD "CODA"

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD "CODA" By: Suepafly It's already mid season time, and our group is now split into four, as one part is headed to the hospital to get back Beth and Carol. Expecting a big shock tonight, Norman Reedus cried, so someone obviously is going to die and my money is on Beth. With Carol semi-back in the fold, Beth's days as Daryl's wingman are numbered. This isn't our first rodeo where the Walking Dead is concerned, and Rick is ready to flip the Rickanator switch at any moment. Bob's getaway is nearly complete, but in addition to the walkers coming to feast on him, someone is running. Bob tries to cut himself free and it's Rick running by spilling walker guts everywhere. Rick jumps into the closest squad car and tells Bob to stop on his loud speaker, but Bob doesn't stop so Rick hits him. Bob thinks his neck is broken. Rick tells him that it didn't have to be this way, he only had to stop. Bob asks to go back to the hospit
