New Saw 3D Trailer

Saw 3D Trailer Puts You In The Movie We got the new trailer for Saw 3D courtesy of yahoo. The film stars Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes, Costas Mandylor and Betsy Russell all return with the addition of Sean Patrick Flanery, Gina Holden, Chad Donella, Laurence Anthony, Dean Armstrong and Naomi Snieckus . An eighth installment was planned, but the decrease in box office performance for Saw VI has led to Saw 3D being the final film in the series, and the plot concept for Saw VIII being incorporated into Saw 3D. Saw V director David Hackl was to direct the film, but two weeks before filming Lionsgate announced that Greutert, who directed the sixth film, would direct. But I would assume that if this film does well at the boxoffice I wouldn't count out another film. Watch the trailer after the Jump.. Paranormal Activity 2 Original Cast To Return?

Paranormal Activity 2 Original Cast To Return? The hot news around Hollywood is when is the sequel to the surprise hit " Paranormal Activity" going to be made? The studio has had some issues getting the original director back for the film. As this moment Oren Peli is working on a film called "Area 51" at least for now, so that would count him out. Next up was "Saw VI" director Kevin Greutert was set to direct then Jigsaw pulled him back into the Saw Franchise. And there are rumors that Brian De Palma may have been approached to direct. MTV had a chance to talk to "Paranormal Activity" star Micah Sloat on the red carpet at the 2010 Independent Spirit Awards and asked to set the record straight: "I know a lot, I can't tell you--" he said, cracking into a smile before adding, "Well, just a little." Has anyone seen the film? Or did Micah Sloat let the cat out of the bag? "All I can tell you is I'm very excited for

Saw 3D Vs Paranormal Activity 2 Going To Get Nasty

Saw 3D Vs Paranormal Activity 2 Going To Get Nasty I n a cheap shot move Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures threw a curve ball at Paramount. Saw franchise partners Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate have just exercised an option and installed Saw VI director Kevin Greutert as director of Saw 3D, the seventh volume of the fright series. That blocks Paramount, which had hired Greutert to direct Paranormal Activity 2. Both films are set for release on October 22nd, and the move came after Paramount set that date. Meanwhile Twisted Pictures, which held an option on the director from back when he helmed Saw VI, bumped previously announced Saw 3D director David Hackl, who directed Saw V and who will be assigned another film quickly, sources tell me. Both directors have been involved in the Saw films from the beginning. The rivalry between the films began last fall, when Paramount's sleeper hit Paranormal Activity bloodied Twisted/Lionsgate's Saw VI at the box office en route to a $150 mill

Paranormal Activity 2 Found It's Director

Paranormal Activity 2 Found It's Director Paramount has hired screenwriter Michael R. Perry and director Kevin Greutert to create the sequel to 2009’s biggest surprise hit, “Paranormal Activity,” which scared up $151 million in worldwide grosses in the fall on a shoestring $15,000 budget and a shrewd, opt-in Web marketing campaign. Significantly, Paramount will unleash it in theaters on the pre-Halloween weekend of October 22, which sets it against that date’s reigning champion in previous years, the next installment in Lionsgate’s “Saw” series (this year would be “VII”). In a symbolic twist, Greutert made his directorial debut on the sixth “Saw” film, which grossed just $31 million worldwide, with observers thinking that the franchise may be bleeding dry. Jason Blum and Oren Peli, who masterminded the first “Activity,” are producing the second iteration. Steven Schneider will serve as executive producer. “These guys get it, and the fans won’t be disappointed,” said Peli of Perry
