BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein To Direct Flashpoint

For at least a couple of years now, the movie focusing on Justice League stalwart speedster The Flash has been floundering in development limbo, as directors came and went and scripts were produced then mostly used as firelighters. Finally, though, we might – stress on the might, given the history to date – have an actual director for what is currently called Flashpoint . Actually, make that directors, as Vacation's John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are close to a deal for the job. Flashpoint will focus on Barry Allen ( Ezra Miller ), though the official plot hasn't yet been announced. Given the writers/directors' usual focus (they also just made a new comedy called Game Night starring Jason Bateman and worked on the script for Spider-Man: Homecoming), we'd expect the movie to keep the lighter tone that would suit the character. Joby Harold wrote the most recent draft of the script, and the new directors will surely have input. The cast still presumab

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit

Writers Hired For The New #SpiderMan Script

With Sony and Marvel joining forces to bring another iteration – albeit not an origin story this time – of Spider-Man to our screens, the elements needed to make the movie have been slotting into place. Tom Holland is aboard to play Peter Parker, Jon Watts will direct the film and now it appears the scriptwriters have been found, with John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein in negotiations. The pair have had a meteoric rise in the last few years, graduating from writing and producing comedies such as The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and the Horrible Bosses films to co-directing the new Vacation movie. And while not everything they’ve written has been a success, it’s worth noting that several of their drafts were changed before the films hit screens. There’s a chance that might happen with Spider-Man, as big tentpoles have a notorious habit of churning through script drafts and the writers who create them, but this pair has weathered the development storm on Vacation to
