Looks Like #WreckItRalph 2 Is Happening

Just over a year ago, composer Henry Jackman let slip his impression that a sequel to Disney Animation's hit Wreck-It Ralph was in the works. All was quiet after that, but now John C. Reilly - the voice of Ralph himself - has revealed at the Galway Film Fleadh that he's officially signed up for Wreck-It Ralph 2 . The first slice of 8-bit adventure grossed $471m worldwide, a more than respectable return on its $150m+ budget. It wowed nostalgic gamers and dazzled kids, with its story of a video-game villain questioning his place in the gaming universe and wondering if, perhaps, there isn’t more to life than smashing up buildings and being repeatedly bested by squeaky-clean hero Fix-It Felix, Jr. (Jack McBrayer). In cohoots with Sarah Silverman’s Vanellope von Schweetz, he sets off on a life-changing adventure across numerous gaming worlds. Disney's Frozen Heading To Broadway

Spending weeks at the top of the US box office charts, defying even its own company’s high expectations. Overtaking The Lion King to become the highest-grossing Disney film in the States. And sending its soundtrack album roaring to the head of several music listings. No surprise, then, that the Mouse House is seriously looking at turning Frozen into a musical. Given how the company likes to spin-off its movies, this was probably a given from the opening weekend, but, talking to Forbes magazine, CEO Bob Iger has said they’re in deep discussions about the idea, though he says, "We're not demanding speed. We're demanding excellence." Frozen , even more so than, say, Tangled , has Broadway in its bones thanks to the lyrical (and story) contributions from composing couple Robert and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who have between them contributed to various hit musicals including Avenue Q and The Book Of Mormon. New Easters Eggs Found In Disney's FROZEN

Disney and Pixar films seem to always have a knack for dropping small Easter eggs in their films. And thanks to Disney’s Blog  they spotted a few in the film FROZEN . In FROZEN , there are at least three big ones. One relates to Tangled and a surprise visit from Flynn and Rapunzel , some sweets from Wreck-It Ralph , and even Mickey Mouse himself. WELCOME TO ARENDELLE – Elsa’s coronation draws guests from far-away lands—and movies. From “Tangled,” Eugene Fitzherbert aka Flynn Rider and Rapunzel even made the guest list. SWEET REPEAT – Anna’s affinity for chocolate summons sweet treats all the way from the land of Sugar Rush in “Wreck-It Ralph.” IT’S A MOUSE! – Disney’s famous icon makes the quickest of cameos in “Frozen.” A small Mickey Mouse plush sits on one of the lower shelves in Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna. REPURPOSED PAINTING – Artist Lisa Keene’s painting—completed during the development phase of “Tangled” and based on “The Swing”
