BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Falcon & Winter Soldier Teaming Up For Their Own TV Series

Marvel heroes Falcon and Winter Soldier are teaming up for a potential limited series at the Disney streaming service. Variety has learned exclusively that Malcolm Spellman has been tapped to write a series featuring the two superheroes, which is currently in development at the streamer. It is the first of the proposed Marvel limited series to find a writer. Falcon and Winter Soldier, played by Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan respectively, have both appeared in multiple Marvel films to date, including the recent blockbuster “ Avengers: Infinity War .” While Winter Soldier was a key character in the second “Captain America” film, the character who became the Winter Solider — Bucky Barnes — first appeared in the original “Captain America” film in 2011. Falcon made his first appearance in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” Spellman previously worked as a writer and co-executive producer on the hit Fox series “Empire” and wrote the screenplay for the feature film “Our Fa

Rumlow, A.K.A Crossbones, is Back

Looking Better Than The Last Time We Saw Him Story by David Clark Images have surfaced this past week showing Frank Grillo ’s character Rumlow finally taking on his villainous persona known as Crossbones. First appearing in the Marvel movie universe as part of Captain America’s S.T.R.I.K.E. team in Winter Soldier, Frank Rumlow has served as little more than a punching bag thus far. In Winter Soldier Rumlow and his team were assigned to apprehend and detain Captain America after the Captain withholds information from S.H.I.E.L.D., clearly a task that is easier said than done. Cornering Captain America in an elevator Rumlow and his team proceed to receive a royal beatdown. Unfortunately for Rumlow, getting his butt kicked was not the end of his troubles in Winter Soldier. At the movie’s conclusion Rumlow has the misfortune of having an airship dropped on top of him. One of the very last scenes in Winter Soldier is that of a badly burned Rumlow being carted into a hos

A plot point relevant to Mitchell’s new character is an area of interest that has strung fans along since season one - Skye (Chloe Bennet). She was introduced as an activist hacker, yet with the progression of the show her origins have become a major mystery. Information from Marvel reveals that Lincoln, the character being played by Luke Mitchell, will be important as Skye’s story unfolds. “With the revelations surrounding Skye’s true identity in the Winter Finale, we knew we’d be introducing more Inhumans as our story progressed,” said Executive Producer Jeph Loeb Loeb introduces Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) as inhuman which is

Agent Carter Being Developed Into TV Show

The “ one shot ” short films featured as extras on Marvel movies’ DVD releases are becoming a hotbed for TV series ideas. After one such short, Item 47 on The Avengers DVD about the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., led to the new ABC/Marvel series, another one may also spawn a series project for ABC. Marvel is notoriously secretive about their development, and no one would comment, but I hear the company is working on a concept for a potential TV series inspired by Agent Carter , a one shot, which will be featured on the upcoming Blu-ray release of Iron Man 3. Directed by Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito, Agent Carter brings back Captain America’s girlfriend Peggy Carter , Marvel Agent Carter TV Seriesplayed by Hayley Atwell , and chronicles her life as a budding secret agent after her boyfriend is stranded in ice. The project is in very early stages, one of several in the works at Marvel, and is in the process of locking in a writer. It is unclear if Atwell would reprise h

In these pictures we get a closer look of Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes (does this leave the door open to a Winter Soldier film in the future? ) and all the images of Captain America himself.  See all the pictures after the Jump... The film will be released on July 22, 2011. Born during the Great Depression, Steve Rogers grew up a frail youth in a poor family. Overhearing the boy’s earnest plea, General Chester Phillips offered Rogers the opportunity to take part in a special experiment… Operation: Rebirth. After weeks of tests, Rogers was at last administered the Super-Solider Serum and bombarded by “vita-rays.” Steve
