BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

"The Event' Episode 2 “To Keep Us Safe” Review

"The Event' Episode 2 “To Keep Us Safe” Review By: Jason Albrecht Everything I felt the pilot lacked, the second episode delivered. My doubt was lifted, and I smiled while I watched. There was intensity. There was mystery. There were answers. The story moved forward as it bounced back and forth though time. It was good, damn good. It seems the imprisoned mysterious strangers were not alone; there were others of their kind that have now integrated with society, and they don’t all agree with their leader, Sophia. They may be E.T.’s. Not the Reese’s pieces eating long-necked kind, but the mostly human less than 1 percent genetic difference kind. Curious? “The Event” is showing the potential to be a great show. It isn’t my number one must see of the week yet, but it definitely will be a contender if it keeps improving week to week. Please Leave A Comment-

Star Wars Goes 3D in 2012

Star Wars Goes 3D in 2012 Sources indicate that George Lucas is set on re-releasing the entire “ Star Wars ” franchise in new 3D conversions beginning in 2012. Though the 3D versions have been rumored for some time, Lucas was purportedly waiting until there were enough 3D screens available to make the release a sizable enough event. Fox, which released all six of the original “Star Wars” films, would also release the 3D versions. Part One, “ The Phantom Menace ,” would be first out of star-dock in the early months of 2012. After that, each of the films would be released in order at the same time each consecutive year, depending on how well the first re-release does. Each conversion takes at least a year to complete, with Lucas personally overseeing the process to make sure each one is as perfected as possible. Lucas has said that the “ Avatar ” experience convinced him that “Star Wars” was ready for the state-of-the-art 3D treatment. Also pushing the timetable is a potential b

No Ordinary Family Review By: Sean Lopez

No Ordinary Family Episode 1 Review By: Sean Lopez Okay let me start off by saying ABC, you had me at “Starring Julie Benz .” Done. I’m in. What time? Though most of you know her as Rita from Dexter or possibly her short stint on Desperate Housewives last season, she will always be the hottest vampire ever to me, Darla from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. So when I heard she was going to be in a show, it easily became the only must watch new show of the season. ABC's No Ordinary Family stars the aforementioned Julie Benz as well as The Commish himself, Michael Chiklis as Stephanie and Jim Powell, who along with their children, survive a plane crash on a family vacation in Brazil. What they soon discover is that not only did they survive but they have each developed their own unique superpower: Jim has super strength and near invulnerability; Stephanie has super speed; daughter Daphne has mental telepathy and son JJ has super intelligence. Paul Haggis To Write The Equalizer

"The Equalizer" Has Found It's Screenwriter Fresh off their collaboration on “ The Next Three Days ,” Paul Haggis and Russell Crowe may be working together on a new project: “ The Equalizer .” Crowe has long been attached as a star and producer of the feature adaptation of the late-’80s TV series, and Haggis, who just directed Crowe in the upcoming Lionsgate thriller “Days,” is negotiating to take on the script. While the direction of the feature version is still being plotted, the original CBS series concerned the exploits of a former secret agent turned vigilante who could be hired to right wrongs. Edward Woodward originated the role of Robert McCall, who provided services for clients free of charge, on the condition they returned his help if he ever came calling. As opposed to the jokiness of the era's other shows such as “The A-Team,” “Magnum P.I.” and “Simon & Simon,” “The Equalizer” was remarkably grim. It also featured a notable theme song composed
