BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

OUR BRAND IS CRISIS TRAILER & OFFICIAL POSTER

A Bolivian presidential candidate failing badly in the polls enlists the firepower of an elite American management team, led by the deeply damaged but still brilliant strategist “Calamity” Jane Bodine ( Bullock ). In self-imposed retirement following a scandal that earned her nickname and rocked her to her core, Jane is coaxed back into the game for the chance to beat her professional nemesis, the loathsome Pat Candy ( Thornton ), now coaching the opposition. Watch the trailer after the Jump... But as Candy zeroes in on every vulnerability – both on and off the campaign trail – Jane is plunged into a personal crisis as intense as the one her team exploits nationally to boost their numbers. Dramatic, rapid-fire and laced with satire, “Our Brand is Crisis” reveals the cynical machinations and private battles of world-class political consultants for whom nothing is sacred and winning is all that matters. The drama also stars Anthony Mackie (“Captain America: The Winter Soldie

Movie Review: #Minions

The pretty prequel loses steam after a hilarious opening, but the kids will love it. Review by Matt Cummings There's no denying the power of Illumination Entertainment's Despicable Me franchise as one of the most beloved by kids. Released in 2010, it gained a tremendous and nearly instant following, not because of Gru (voiced by Steve Carrell), but because of the Minions. Those yellow buffoons who utter incomprehensible words while doing insanely stupid things has led us to this point: their own standalone movie. As a movie, Minions is perhaps one of the most beautiful and realistic animated movies ever made, but you'll soon want to remove the batteries powering these idiots, as their shtick can't power an entire movie. Revealing that the yellow rubber dudes are actually immortal, we follow their adventures as they try desperately to serve one madman after another, beginning with a T-Rex, then a caveman, and eventually Napoleon, all of whom they accide

Sandra Bullock To Throw A Tupperware Party

Bullock is circling to star as trailblazing sales exec Brownie Wise in an untitled project detailing the rise of Tupperware that has The Help director Tate Taylor attached to direct. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville Films/TV, whose credits range from The Fighter to The Muppets, are producing. The producers put together the package over the course of several months and hope to find a home for it soon. The likely first stop would be Disney, where the company has its production deal. The script, which Taylor wrote, is based on Tupperware Unsealed , the non-fiction book written by Bob Kealing. Taylor has met and discussed the project with Bullock, but although the actress has expressed a desire to do it, she is not formally attached. Tupperware was originally developed by Earl Silas Tupper but took off in the 1950s when sales exec Wise came up with the idea of having Tupperware parties. Soon those get-togethers were sweeping the nation and Wise became as popular

Gravity Review. The Film Is An Absolute Thrillride

Gravity Review By: MattInRC The gripping Gravity proves space is the final and most dangerous frontier.  WARNING: major spoilers ahead. The beauty and thrill of discovery involved in space travel is matched only by its inherent potential for dramatic loss of life, as evidenced by the tragedies of Challenger and Columbia. Director Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity takes us through just such a disaster, creating both a thrilling and cautionary tale that will either inspire or make you nervous each time you fly. Astronauts Ryan Stone ( Sandra Bullock ) and Matt Kowalski ( George Clooney ) are busy space-walking around the Space Shuttle Explorer when the ship is struck and destroyed by a dead Russian spy satellite. Their only hope is to make it to the International Space Station, which Stone finds has been abandoned, with its only functioning escape craft damaged. As secrets are revealed about the duo, one must make the ultimate sacrifice so that the other may live, paving the way fo
