BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#InsidetheBucket Podcast #87

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery! On this edition of Inside the Bucket, Matt is joined by Sandwich John to give you all this week's movie and television news and reviews from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM . The boys bring every bit of their greasy, ballsy attitude to discuss several items of supposed importance. Things start off with a review of this week's movie news, including our thoughts about all those Super Bowl 50 movie trailers, news about the franchising of Transformers, and an update on the Star Trek CBS television series. They also break down the box office weekend, as Deadpool, How to Be Single, and Zoolander 2 . The boys also discuss movies and television shows hitting Blu-ray this week. Then it's headlong into Rants and Raves, where John and Matt bitch and gripe about all the things they've been watching a reading about this week, including a Amazon's Bosch season 2, John's review

The Dawn Of The Justice League & Wonder Woman Logo

Hoping to capture our attention in a big way today, Warner Bros. and DC have been drip-feeding little nuggets from the Justice League , culminating in a TV special that will launch looks at some of the new films and introduce a second Suicide Squad trailer. Until then, we have a logo for Wonder Woman and an image of the Justice League. First up is that logo for Wonder Woman to go along with the film that will pencil in a lot more of the character's backstory following her introduction in this year's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice . Played by Gal Gadot , we'll meet Princess Diana and some of her family (including her mother, played by Connie Nielsen ) as she has her first encounter with US air intelligence officer Steve Trevor ( Chris Pine ), a man who will have a huge effect on her life, and she on his. We've yet to see much from the film, which is still in production, but we'd expect a few more images to arrive soon enough. Then there's the Jus

SandwichJohn's 22 Most Anticipated Films Of 2016

Here is my personal most anticipated list for 2016. I am sure I have missed a few films that will end up on our radar later this year. Hail, Caesar! (February 5) The latest film from the Coen brothers features Josh Brolin as a Hollywood studio “fixer” in the 1950s, charged with tracking down a buffoonish star (George Clooney) who’s been kidnapped while filming a sword-and-sandal epic. Deadpool (February 12) The Marvel superhero Deadpool gets his own stand alone film. Ryan Reynolds plays the mercenary with a mouth who has little regard for human life, including his own. The film is scripted by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland). Tim Miller is set to make his directorial debut Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25) DC’s efforts to match Marvel’s cinematic universe kick off here, with this superhero showdown between Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill), plus appearances from other DC icons including Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Aquaman and more. #InsidetheBucket Podcast #82

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery! Inside the Bucket comes to you this week ready to break down barriers with love and lots of discussion about movies and television. Matt is joined by John, Brandon, and special guest Joe Deas as they bring you this week's juiciest movie and television news and reviews from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM . As always, the boys start the show with all the style of a bull and full of greasy attitude, as they discuss this week's hottest TV and movie news. They review several key items including a new (possible) director trailer for Black Panther , a special guest weighing in recasting Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 5 , and (of course) a thorough breakdown of WB's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice . They also break down this weekend's box office, with new arrival Krampus actually doing good business, as The Good Dinosaur and Creed battle for 3rd and 4th. The boys also d

Seth Grahame-Smith Is In Talks To Direct & Write The Flash

THR is reporting Seth Grahame-Smith is in negotiations to direct and write The Flash , Warner Bros.' comic book movie based on the iconic DC Entertainment scarlet speedster super hero. The movie project has a treatment from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the Lego Movie duo that were also eyeing it as a possible directing vehicle. Instead, the busy duo is headed to a galaxy far, far away (in this case just down the street to Disney) to tackle the Han Solo Star Wars movie, thus instigating a new search for a helmer. Flash already has a release date – March 3, 2018 – and an actor who portrays the classic hero known as "the fastest man alive" – Ezra Miller . Miller’s Flash, aka. Barry Allen, is due to be introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice , and then more prominently in Justice League Part 1, which will be released in the summer of 2017. The Flash is already generating awareness in the form of a hit television series on the CW. Charles Roven is pr

#JenaMalone Will Play Barbara Gordon In Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Latinoreview is reporting that Jena Malone will play Barbara Gordon . No word yet whether she’d become Batgirl or Oracle in this movie. But word has it that Commissioner Gordon has already passed away prior to the story in “ Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice ” No confirmation yet, so take that info with a grain of salt for now. Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before. Zack Snyder’s film, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, stars Henry Cavill, reprising his role as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. The film also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and r

New Images From #BatmanVSuperman: Dawn Of Justice

In the September issue, Empire sits down with the brains trust behind the new DC/Warner Bros. superpowered behemoth, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice . It's the beginning of unrivalled coverage of a film that has an awful lot riding on it. The on-set stories, the genesis, the new casting and its place in the fast-developing DCverse are all tackled within, with director Zack Snyder , producers Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven, and its two key protagonists, Henry Cavill (the Man of Steel) and Ben Affleck (the Dark Knight), promising a muscular, dark-hewn epic. These three exclusive new shots from within the article's pages bear that out. See all the images after the Jump... First up is Cavill's Supes, looking like, a) he's inside the burnt-out ruins of Wayne Manor, and b) he's not there to measure it out for new soft furnishing. Below is his adversary, for the majority of the movie at least, in Affleck's Batman. Note the almost medieval shape of th

#BatmanVSuperman Empire Cover Photo

The new issue of Empire lands this week and the front cover packs a mighty bunch. Well, four mighty punches to be exact, two each from the fists of Batman and Superman . This month's cover stars and Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice adversaries hail from different sides of the light/dark spectrum. Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight is pictured against a murky and distinctive Gotham cityscape. “There is just this gravitas to Batman,” director/producer/franchise oversees Zack Snyder stresses in our cover feature. “He is operatic.” And Superman? " In this movie, everyone has split into different directions as to how they feel about this alien," explains Henry Cavill. "Some people love him, some hate him. Other people fear him. Is he a tyrant?" At the heart of Empire's access-all-areas coverage this month is a trip to the heart of the Batman V Superman brains trust and a chance to meet the man piloting this superhero behemoth, as well as his stars, and get the sc
