THR is reporting Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson are set to return for ' Glass .' After 17 years, M. Night Shyamalan is finally delivering a proper sequel to Unbreakable . The writer-director announced the news Wednesday on Twitter after months of teasing a new script he's been writing. He revealed the film is called Glass, and that Bruce Willis (David Dunn) and Samuel L. Jackson (Mr. Glass/Elijah Price) will return. Universal will release the film Jan. 18, 2019. "It’s taken 17 years but I can finally answer the #1 question I get, 'Are you making a f#&@ing sequel to Unbreakable or what?' " he tweeted. "My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. According to THR Will Smith is in negotiations to star in Gemini Man , Skydance’s high-concept action thriller based on one of Hollywood’s long-unproduced scripts. Ang Lee is in negotiations to direct the project, which is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The story centers on an aging assassin who finds himself in a battle with the ultimate opponent: his clone, who is 25 years younger and at the peak of his abilities. The project was first set up at Disney in 1997 as a pitch by Darren Lemke, with Don Murphy producing and Tony Scott directing. While always popular with execs, in and outside the studio, Gemini was considered unfilmable for many years because visual effects technology had not caught up to the concept. THR is reporting Jeff Goldblum is returning to the land of dinosaurs. The actor, who co-starred in 1993's Jurassic Park and 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park , will appear in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s next Jurassic World film. J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is directing the next installment in the studio's hit franchise. Jurassic World earned $1.67 billion worldwide in 2015 and is the fourth-highest-grossing film in history. Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning for the sequel, which also stars Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones. Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, wrote the script for the follow-up with Derek Connolly. The film is slated for release on June 22, 2018.
