Open Road Films has acquired all U.S. rights to the drama thriller ALL I SEE IS YOU – directed by Marc Forster (World War Z, Quantum Solace, Monster’s Ball) and starring Blake Lively (@blakelively, The Shallows, Gossip Girl, The Town) and Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, Everest) – and will release the film nationwide August 4 , 2017. The announcement was made today by Tom Ortenberg, CEO of Open Road Films. Directed by Marc Forster, ALL I SEE IS YOU is the story of a blind woman (Blake Lively) and her husband (Jason Clarke). When her sight unexpectedly returns, she begins to discover the previously unseen and disturbing details about themselves, their marriage and their lives. Zelda Fitzgerald , novelist, socialite and wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald, has been brought to the screen numerous times in fictional portrayals. Now there is a plan to tell her story in a more direct biopic and Jennifer Lawrence is attached to portray her in a film that Ron Howard may direct. The film, currently known simply as Zelda , is being developed by former Lionsgate executive-turned-producer Allison Shearmur (who helped push Lawrence's career into the stratosphere with the Hunger Games movies) alongside Brian Oliver and Justine Ciarrocchi. The White Queen's Emma Frost has written the script, drawing inspiration from Nancy Milford's biography, also called Zelda. Howard hasn't definitely agreed to direct, but he's involved with the development and certainly seems to be interested. Lawrence will next be seen in sci-fi story Passengers (out 23 December) and has also worked on Darren Aronofsky's latest, untitled movie, which has yet to confirm a releas

In a surprising development, director Tim Miller has departed Deadpool 2 due, according to Deadline, to creative differences with star Ryan Reynolds . The duo, of course, crafted the original Deadpool, which became a blockbuster beyond anyone's expectations. Of Miller, the site comments, "He hadn't formally signed a deal to continue, but he was developing the script and by all accounts had planned to return behind the camera." The departure was reportedly an amicable one, and Fox is intending on having Miller direct an adaptation of author David Suarez' Influx.
