Though we'd have thought that yesterday's Alien Day social media and marketing blitz might have been the best day to launch a new image from Ridley Scott's next trip into the Alien universe, we suppose it makes sense to steer clear of the chatter. Much as with Star Trek Beyond's initial peek, it's a picture of a ship's patch, in this case the titular craft. And look! The angels from the Ark of the Covenant. Fitting, but as Indiana Jones can tell you, associating with that particular relic might not end well... According to the basic synopsis of the film, the story finds the colony ship Covenant headed for a remote planet, a place that the crew initially thinks is an uncharted paradise but turns out to be dark and full of terrors.
