By Brandon Wolfe At last count, the only major Marvel heroes not appearing in Captain America: Civil War were Thor and the Hulk, and now we might be down to just one absence. In an interview with Hitfix , Mark Ruffalo claims that he has been told that the green giant will be appearing in the film after all, but this comes solely from co-star Robert Downey Jr., not from any of the official Marvel brass. Says Ruffalo: “Robert Downey Jr. says I'm in Captain America, I'm in Captain America dammit. And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script. At this point, I'm told that I'm in it by Robert, which I'll take as biblical, but I just haven't heard or seen from production yet." His last outing was in 2009’s Halloween II , the sequel to Rob Zombie’s 2007 remake of the original film. However, Zombie’s Michael Myers - hulking, unmasked, more than a little white-trashy – was a far cry from the sleeker, more elegant killer from the olden days. The last outing in the original Halloween continuity (or at least one of several competing continuities; it gets confusing) was 2002’s Busta Rhymes-powered Halloween: Resurrection , which was hardly a glorious note to go out on. But now Michael is finally coming home in the idiotically titled Halloween Returns (it returns every year!).
