Into the Woods Review. Pretty Faithful Adaptation Of Sondheim's Beloved Play

Pretty faithful adaptation of Sondheim's beloved play With a child-molesting wolf, a baby-stealing witch and an adulterous wife, this fairy tale is definitely not your normal Disney fare. Into the Woods has long been a fan favorite on Broadway, but finding its way to the big screen hasn't been quick or easy by any means. While there are some changes to the original masterpiece, Into the Woods is a pretty faithful adaptation of Sondheim's beloved play that translates well to the big screen. I'll admit, outside of Disney movies, I'm not a musical-seeking kind of girl. In fact, I mostly avoid them at all costs. All that singing really gets on my nerves. On the stage, it’s a different thing, but mostly, the big-screen version can't capture the magic of a live performance, even with its fancy special effects. The Interview Will Be Released Tomorrow In Theaters & Online

Sony's The Interview will become available today on a variety of online platforms including YouTube Movies, Google Play, Microsoft's Xbox Video and Sony's own dedicated website www.seetheinterview.com , the studio has announced. The movie, which will go online at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, can be rented for $5.99 and purchased in HD for $14.99. “It has always been Sony’s intention to have a national platform on which to release this film,” Michael Lynton, chairman and CEO of Sony Entertainment, said. “With that in mind, we reached out to Google, Microsoft and other partners last Wednesday, Dec. 17, when it became clear our initial release plans were not possible. Kim Dickens To Star In The Walking Dead Spin Off Show

Gone Girl standout Kim Dickens has been tapped as the female lead opposite Cliff Curtis in the pilot for The Walking Dead companion series at AMC. The project was created by Robert Kirkman , on whose graphic novel The Walking Dead was based, and Dave Erickson, with Adam Davidson set to direct.
