A24 ACQUIRES U.S. RIGHTS TO ALEX GARLAND’S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT EX MACHINA. THRILLER STARRING OSCAR ISAAC, DOMHNALL GLEESON , AND ALICIA VIKANDER WILL BE RELEASED April 10, 2015 A24 has acquired U.S. rights to Alex Garland’s directorial debut EX MACHINA. Garland also wrote the film, which stars a trio of rising stars—Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, and Alicia Vikander. The film was produced by DNA’s Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich. Scott Rudin and Eli Bush executive produced the film along with former Film4 head Tessa Ross. A24 will release the film April 10, 2015. TV Review: Gotham “Spirit of the Goat” By: Brandon Wolfe Donal Logue has proven himself over a span of many years to be a talented, perfectly enjoyable actor. Playing a sarcastic crank like Harvey Bullock, Logue should be the saving grace of ‘Gotham,’ livening up the dour proceedings with a snappy line. But in “Spirit of the Goat,” Bullock takes center stage for once and it becomes more evident that the show has no idea how to use what should be a huge asset.
