TV Recap: Supernatural "King Of The Damned" By: Sue Leith, Scotland 1723 A man drinks from a flask when Abaddon appears. She tells him that she’s a friend of the family as she draws on his door with blood. He’s packing, but she tells him that there’s been a change of plans. When his friend arrives, Abaddon kills him, and begins her chanting, to take the man away. Now, a trio is interrupted by an odd duck at the bar. They try to blow him off, until he mentions Metatron. Name dropping gets their attention, he talks big, telling them about the mad man’s plans, and others listen in. He leaves the bar, walking through an alley, and a pair of eavesdroppers grab him. He gets scolded for his loose lips, and threatened with consequences. Someone comes to deal with him directly, but its not Metatron, but Castiel. Sam and Dean arrive at the address, it’s not what they were expecting. Inside is a crazy network of workers all trying to find Metatron, looks very 24 CTU. An angel

TV Recap: Arrow "Streets of Fire" By: Sue The after math of the explosion has Arrow pinned. He crawls his way from beneath the rubble, looking for Laurel. Diggle takes on a crazed Isabel, still wielding swords and a mask. Laurel calls out, she’s trapped, but luckily she has Arrow’s bow and quiver. He has her locate the explosive arrow, one he wants her to use to blast her way out. Isabel gets Diggle down, but before she can finish him, Felicity hits her with the van. Diggle gets in, and Isabel gets up. The pair drive off as Isabel rises. More of Deathstroke’s men attack Quinton at the station. Quinton is forced to use grenades to clear the room. City Hall battens down the hatches as Mayor Blood tries to mollify everyone. The DA wants the National Guard called in, but Blood thinks the police can handle it, that Starling City can get through the crisis if they just keep calm. It’s Yabba Dabba Doo time again. Warner Bros. is hoping to bring The Flintstones back to the big-screen, this time as a full-length animated feature. Chris Henchy -- who is partners with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay in Gary Sanchez Productions and who also co-wrote the script for Warners' Ferrell-Zack Galifianakis comedy The Campaign -- is penning the script. Ferrell and McKay will executive produce Flintstones, which is in development stages. Flintstones was The Simpsons of its day, a primetime cartoon and sitcom that ran from 1960 to 1966 and then entertained millions in the ensuing decades when it aired on syndication. The show was set in the Stone Age and told of the antics of Fred Flintstone, his wife Wilma, his best friend Barney Rubble and Rubble’s wife and Wilma’s best friend, Betty. Rebel Wilson is ready for a new challenge — the Marines — as the popular comedienne is attached to star in New Line's reboot of the Goldie Hawn's 1980 comedy “Private Benjamin,” TheWrap has learned. “ Private Benjamin ” will follow a redneck ( Wilson ) and a rich city girl who get more than they bargained for when they enlist in the Marines to escape their present situations. Mark Gordon is producing the movie, which would seem to be a natural fit for Wilson's comedic sensibility. New Line is currently seeking a director for the modern day update.
