TV Review: Justified “The Toll” By: Brandon Wolfe This season of ‘Justified’ has struggled with the issue of narrative focus. Even now as we’re entering the home stretch, it still does not feel that the threads of Season 5 are binding together into a greater tapestry. If the writers are playing a long game, their grand scheme still has yet to present itself at this late stage. TV Review: From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series “Mistress” By: Brandon Wolfe What is emerging as the most interesting part of watching ‘From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series’ is witnessing the show veer into and away from the film that inspired it. Sometimes it’s so similar that you get a Gus Van Sant ‘Psycho’ feeling of déjà vu, and other times the series parts company with the film in a wild deviation from what we are familiar with.
