From Drafthouse Films and director Ben Wheatley comes the original horror film A Field In England, available on DVD and Blu-ray April 8. This is the fourth feature film from writer/director Ben Wheatley, whose credits include the highly acclaimed tour-de-force thriller Kill List, the Edgar Wright-produced 2012 Cannes Film Festival selection Sightseers, and a segment in anthology horror film The ABCs Of Death. Billed as "a psychedelic trip into magic and madness," A Field In England follows a group of English Civil War soldiers in the 17th century who are captured by an alchemist and led into a vast mushroom field, where they fall victim to violent and nightmarish forces. TV Recap: Supernatural "Blade Runners" By: Sue Last we saw Crowley he was after the first blade, searching the bottom of the ocean. Dean tries unsuccessfully to call him. The last call he received from Crowley sounds very much like a drunk dial. Sam isn’t surprised in the least that Crowley isn’t being responsible or reliable. He’s being well, Crowley, sexing it up with a demon. His little bed fellow, Lola, gets him a syringe of fresh blood, and Crowley injects it in his arm. TV Review: Justified  “Weight” By: Brandon Wolfe It might be time to concede that this current season of ‘Justified’ just isn’t going to pull it together. Sure, the show remains as funny and entertaining as always, but the ramshackle storytelling on display all year continues to be very much in evidence this week. I’m still genuinely not sure what story Season 5 is trying to tell us, and I’m not certain the writers know, either. Nothing is emerging as the core to the season’s narrative. I hate to kick a show while it’s still a pleasure to watch, but rarely has ‘Justified’ ever lacked such focus. Poor, inept (yet weirdly affable) Dewey Crowe is on the run with the shipment of heroin in his possession, and finds himself for the first time ever in a position of some power over his cousins, as well as over Boyd Crowder. Here is the international trailer for Godzilla . We get some unexpected footage in this trailer that has not been seen. It’s fair to say that while the San Francisco tourist board are happy to encourage visitors to check out the city’s many attractions and features, we’re certain they won’t be too pleased that a massive beast is stomping through town causing untold damage. And we do mean massive; comparing this version to the Transamerica Pyramid there in the foreground, which is 850ft. / 260m tall, would suggest ginormity. For comparison, last summer's Pacific Rim kaiju topped out at 181m long, and the Godzilla here seems to be roughly twice as big. Unless, of course, the poster designer has gone a little nuts here and done the monster equivalent of giving him heel-lifts.
