Batman Vs Superman Pushed To 2016

And just like that, Batman and Superman’s big team-up was gone from its planned July 2015 release slot. Was it an evil plot by Lex Luthor or someone else from their vast rogues gallery? A superheroic huff? Nothing so suspicious or whiny: Warners has announced a months-long delay to allow Zack Snyder more time to work on the film. Citing a wish to give the filmmakers “time to realize fully their vision, given the complex visual nature of the story,” the studio put out a press release on Friday night, adding that the decision to move the release to May 6, 2016 was made when production plans shifted to the second quarter of this year. “We are happy to take advantage of these coveted summer dates, which are perfect for two of our biggest tent pole releases. We share the fans’ excitement to see DC Comics’ most popular figures, Superman and Batman, together on the big screen for the first time, which will now be arriving in theatres in May 2016.” Rumors naturally began flaring as so

Win Tickets To An Advance Screening For ABOUT LAST NIGHT In Sacramento

Win Tickets To An Advance Screening For ABOUT LAST NIGHT on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 - 7:00 PM at Century Downtown Plaza 7 In Sacramento. ABOUT LAST NIGHT , which finds Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Michael Ealy and Joy Bryant in the remake of Ed Zwick’s 1986 Brat pack-era comedy. Patterned along similar lines to the ‘80s version (and still paying proper respect to the original source material, David Mamet’s play Sexual Perversity In Chicago),  ABOUT LAST NIGHT  finds mismatched lovers Hart and Hall getting together, and introducing their best friends, Ealy and Patton, to one another. That in turn sparks a true love connection, and we’re treated to two – or maybe four – very different viewpoints on love, sex, relationships and the best way to disguise that you really, really don’t like someone’s cooking. Hint: have a bag ready to spit into. Hart, who is a rising comedy lead, steals a lot of the good lines here, though Hall matches him, while Ealy and Bryant are the

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit Review. The Film Is A Smart, Wild, & Entertaining Ride

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit Review By: MattInRC TWITTER: The heart-pounding #JackRyanMovie Shadow Recruit is a smart, wild, and entertaining ride. Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit has all the trappings of a great franchise in the making. Among our many movie fetishes, we here at SJF are big fans of intelligent spy movies that incorporate a sensible amount of action - from Tom Clancy's The Hunt for Red October to Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy we love espionage in almost any form, including the stylish Skyfall and what should have been last year's Oscar winner in Zero Dark Thirty . In each of these classics, the characters who protect us are as important as the mission itself, making their drama an essential part of the story. Thankfully, the newest candidate - Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit - impresses us for all of these reasons. As this is an origin story, we see the college-bound Jack Ryan ( Chris Pine ) studying in England just as the 9/11 attacks occur. As a result

RIDE ALONG Movie Review. The Film Is Funny From Start To Finish

RIDE ALONG Movie Review By: MattInRC Thankfully, Ride Along takes us out of the Month of Meh in hilarious fashion. As we've lamented before, films in January are usually forgettable tripe thrown together to literally get Hollywood past the doldrums of the Oscar season. The results are usually just as bad - from The Legend of Hercules to The Nut Job and The Marked Ones . Thankfully, our first REAL movie of 2014 arrives with the hilarious buddy-cop Ride Along , reminding us that Januaries are not so bad. High school security employee Ben Barber ( Kevin Hart ) wants desperately to join the Atlanta Police Department, hoping to take his online Xbox handle as BlackHammer to the streets. He also hopes to win the hand of his girlfriend Angela ( Tika Sumpter ), whose brother James Payton ( Ice Cube ) already serves on the force. However, James doesn't have a great opinion of Ben, whom he thinks is not ready for either the police or his sister. Payton decides to
