Now You See Me Sequel On It's Way

Lionsgate is working on a sequel to the Summit Entertainment hit movie Now You See Me . As the magician heist film continues to outperform more pricey tentpoles at the international box office, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer told analysts Friday that production on the sequel is penciled in for 2014. Feltheimer predicted Louis Leterrier's caper-thriller will reach the $275 million mark in worldwide box office grosses. Now You See Me has so far pulled in $115.6 million since its Memorial Day weekend debut, and $119.3 million at the international box office to date. Internationally, the sleeper hit has yet to open in China, Australia and Japan. The mid-price comedy thriller sees Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Woody Harrelson play gifted magicians drawn into a bank robbery. Lionsgate is projecting that the international take for the Summit film will exceed $150 million. The mini-studio isn't indicating yet whether a screenwriter has been attached to the

Mel Gibson Confirmed For The Expendables 3

Neither of these casting choices are shocks – Mel Gibson was reportedly in talks in June and Antonio Banderas’s named was dropped on Twitter by Expendables boss Sylvester Stallone – but official confirmation has come that both will join The Expendables 3 . The news comes on the heels of 'Willisgate', with Bruce no longer part of the third Expendables cast and Harrison Ford hired in his place. Gibson seems to be relishing the chance to play bad guys at the moment, with a showy villain role in Machete Kills and now this. Perhaps he’s trying to spin his decidedly murky reputation in Hollywood and make a comeback by playing up his dark side. We’re not sure that’ll work, but who knows? Whether Banderas will be on the side of good – represented by Stallone’s Barney Ross and the rest of the MVP OAP AWOL types, blended with some of their younger regulars and some new faces – or evil remains to be seen. As of now, the roster reads: Stallone, Ford, Gibson, Banderas, Jason Statha

We're the Millers Review. Is One Of The Year's Best Comedies.

We're the Millers Review By: MattInRC Does We're the Millers deliver plenty of laughs, or get arrested for indecent exposure? The problem with today's crass comedies is simple they're just not that funny. Think about what doomed Grown Ups 2 or Hangover III : ill-conceived plots surrounded by skits that relied too heavily on ad-libbing. But when those scenes lead to more groans than laughs, you know the industry has missed the point. Luckily, We're the Millers doesn't succumb to this pitfall, instead delivering lots of laughs and proving that comedies can be a little crass and still entertain. The plot is fairly simple: small-time pot dealer David Clark ( Jason Sudeikis , Horrible Bosses) is forced to drive an RV filled with weed across the Mexican border after his stash is stolen by some local thugs. There's a bit of a cameo here in Clark's creepy pin-stripe suited contact who sends him on the journey, so we won't ruin that one
