Tis the season of giving. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has provide me with not one copy but 5 copies of PITCH PERFECT (Special Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack) to giveaway. Rapkin, senior editor at GQ magazine, spent a season covering competitive collegiate a cappella. In a parallel universe, Quentin Tarantino directed a Luke Cage comic book movie, with Laurence Fishburne as the titular Hero For Hire and the film coming out at around the same Pulp Fiction did in our version of reality. Ellis has helmed Final Destination 2, Cellular, Shark Night and, um, Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco , but now he's got the toughest challenge of his career ahead of him: adapting the furiously violent and much-loved anime Kite into a live-action Hollywood thriller. Aiding him in his quest is Samuel L. Jackson , who previously worked with Ellis on Snakes On A Plane back in 2006.
