Jamie Foxx is in full-on hero mode with " Django Unchained ," but it won't take long for the Oscar winner to tap into his inner villain. Foxx is slated to cross paths with Andrew Garfield's friendly neighborhood web-slinger in director Marc Webb's upcoming "Amazing Spider-Man" sequel. The "Django" actor stars in the superhero flick as Max Dillon, alias Electro , a criminal with the ability to manipulate electricity for his own nefarious needs. But to hear Foxx tell it, the movie version of Dillon isn't just an out and out bad guy; he's just a big thinker who never got recognized, until it was far too late. "You'll see that in his whole life, no one is talking to him. People have stolen his ideas at the big company. Comedian Ricky Gervais is in negotiations to star in The Muppets sequel as the Disney movie’s human lead character, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter . The follow-up movie to the 2011 hit, which starts production in January, is a European-centric adventure. And while the film will be populated by a slew of cameos, there are three main human roles. Gervais , however, would play the lead -- as much as one can be a lead opposite Kermit, Fozzie and Miss Piggy -- with his stature being compared to the role played by Jason Segel in the 2011 movie. But the nature of Gervais' character is unknown because the script is being kept secret. Also unclear is whether the part calls for singing, a requirement for the first movie (but here's hoping). Gervais shot a cameo for the first movie, but the scene didn't make the final cut. The Bourne Legacy Legacy Blu-Ray Review By: MattInRC The disappointing  Bourne Legacy  delivers excellent audio and video for a film I wish was better. As a fan of Intelli-Action (fast-paced AND smartly dialogued action cinema), I have enjoyed the Bourne series because it's essentially moved the action genre into a more intelligent direction, giving old tired franchises like James Bond new life. Watch  Casino Royale  to witness the renaissance courtesy of Jason Bourne. Thus it seemed like a strange moment when the lights came on after the satisfying  The Bourne Ultimatum  had concluded. Audiences were left to wonder as to the future of a franchise when its main character was essentially vindicated. The answer from Universal would take five years to arrive, as  The Bourne Legacy  would not reset the franchise, but rather move it in a different but no less familiar direction.
