BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Which Avenger Will Not Be Getting His Own Film Soon

Marvel is stacking the deck with characters for Joss Whedon's Avengers , and, while a handful have gotten a chance to shine in the spotlight—most recently, Thor, Captain America and Iron Man —one would think that if Avengers is a hit, some of those heroes might get their own movies. But one most definitely will not. Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury might get his own S.H.I.E.L.D. movie, they've been talking about a Black Widow origin movie for a while now, and—if Jeremy Renner's Bourne Legacy performs well— Hawkeye could very well get called up to the majors. (Agent Coulson, however, is a perennial minor-leaguer.) As for the Hulk ... well, he's had his shot. Or so says Marvel's president, Kevin Feige: "I mean, this was the third appearance of Hulk and everything that we had and were going for, we put in to Hulk's appearance in Avengers. So, I love that people are saying [positive things about the Hulk in Avengers] and are feeling that way about

Emily Blunt In Talks To Join Tom Cruise In All You Need Is Kill

While more attention has been focused recently on Tom Cruise’s first sci-fi project for the year, the long-gestating Joseph Kosinsky film Oblivion , another high-profile, high concept film – Doug Liman’s All You Need Is Kill has been chugging along in development. Cruise has been locked in for a while, and the question has turned to the movie’s female lead, with word arriving that Emily Blunt is now in talks to sign on. Kill has had its own lengthy journey towards the screen, with Liman aboard in 2010 and Cruise signing on last December. Adapted from Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s graphic novel, the plot follows a soldier killed in action fighting aliens who is forced to endure his final battle again and again, Groundhog Day-style until he gets it right. If she locks down the role, Blunt will be one of Cruise’s fellow troops. With a script from Dante Harper now going through rewrites courtesy of Joby Harold, the movie should be shooting later this year. Warner Bros., which has been

Tina Fey Is The Intern

Paramount Pictures is making a deal to finance and distribute The Intern , which Nancy Meyers will direct from her script, with Tina Fey attached to star. Scott Rudin will produce. T It remains to be seen which film goes first, but The Intern will likely get started in the first quarter of 2013, after Fey completes work on another season of 30 Rock. Fey will play the founder of an e-business with a fashion focus. As her company begins to thrive, she’s told that her company is importing seniors to be interns as a community outreach effort, and she’s getting one. While her first question is whether they are seniors in high school or college, she learns to her horror that she’s getting a real senior, as in senior citizen. The title character, an over-70 widower who is bored with retirement from a middle management career, initially seems like a fossil to his working mother boss, but grows more indispensable. While the boss and internship develop a platonic bond, Meyers tells me that t

Blu-Ray Review Of WAR Horse

WAR HORSE Blu-Ray Review By: RAMA Here is RAMA's review of the Blu-Ray of WAR Horse . WAR HORSE was not one of my favorite films of 2011, but it was a very well-film. It had to be especially when you’re dealing with masters like director Steven Spielberg , composer John Williams, editor Michael Kahn, and cinematographer Janusz Kaminski, that’s filmmaking dream team right there. They say ‘you are only as good as the people you work with’ and these are people Spielberg trusts with his works. Stunning is how I’d describe this period piece that’s also tender and genuine. It was made with the best of intentions and the 4-disc combo blu-ray pack, which I highly recommend, is a testament to that.. “ War Horse ,” the Academy Award®-nominated Best Picture, is a story of incredible friendship, loyalty, courage, hope and tenacity. Based on the Tony Award®-winning play, and set against the sweeping canvas of World War I, this deeply heartfelt tale begins with the remarkable friendship
