Columbia Pictures has released the first trailer for Men In Black 3 . And given us just a tiny bit more of a clue what to expect from the film. In short: familiar gags like the use of the neuraliser; Will Smith jumping off a very tall building and Josh Brolin doing a really, really good Tommy Lee Jones impression. The plot sees Smith's Agent J travel back in time to prevent the assassination of his partner Agent K ( Tommy Lee Jones ) in 1969 - which he must do with K's younger counterpart ( Josh Brolin ). I thought to myself that I should do something ambitious and good for my local community. Who doesn't want good Karma leading into the New Year? As far as I know no other  blog or website has sponsored their own event before. So with a little help of the internet I was able to reconnect with an old high school friend and we put this in motion. G.I. Joe: Retaliation has arrived and I didn't think I would say this but I am Excited to see the movie after this trailer. Thanks to machinima for delivering this trailer. Little has been revealed about the plot other than that it will feature the G.I. Joe Team coming into a conflict with Zartan, Storm Shadow and Firefly. Zartan (who is last seen in disguise as the President of the United States) has now got the world leaders all under his thumb, warheads headed towards innocent populaces, and some new heavies on the payroll to keep G.I. Joe at bay. G.I. Joe: Retaliation is directed by Jon M. In their latest collaboration, director Spike Lee and writer John Ridley have teamed for an HBO biopic of Marion Barry , with Eddie Murphy attached to play the larger-then-life former Washington D.C. mayor. The HBO Films project, first reported by the Washington Post, is currently in development. Ridley is writing the script based on several pieces of source material, including the 1994 book Dream City by D.C. journalists Harry Jaffe and Tom Sherwood, who will serve as consultants. Lee is on board to direct. The two are executive producing with Murphy. HBO previously developed a Marion Barry biopic a decade ago with Jamie Foxx attached to star and Chris Rock to executive produce, but the project didn’t go forward. Barry, currently a member of the Council of the District Of Columbia, did two terms as a mayor of D.C., from 1979-91 and 1995-99, separated by a six-month stint in federal prison on drug charges that stems from a video of him smoking crack cocaine.
