Bryan Singer To Direct The Munsters TV Show

Bryan Singer is moving from mutants to Munsters . The producer-director-writer, who has been involved with three of the X-Men films in the superhero franchise, is closing in on a deal to direct and executive produce NBC's The Munsters . The project, which received a pilot order earlier this month, is billed as an imaginative reinvention of the classic comedy series as a visually spectacular one-hour drama. Singer will executive produce alongside Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies), who also is writing the Universal Television-produced project. Fuller and NBC first made an attempt to revive the 1960s CBS sitcom last year, with the network ultimately passing. His newer version is said to be an edgier and slightly darker take exploring origins of Herman and Lily Munster (originally played by Fred Gwynne and Yvonne De Carlo) and how they arrived at the famed 1313 Mockingbird Lane address. The original series, produced by Universal Studios, aired 70 episodes from 1

Olive The Movie- First Feature Film Shot 100% On A Cell Phone

I came across this movie today on the web and not sure if this has ever happened before. Olive is the very first full length feature film shot 100% on a cell phone (Nokia N8 phone). A 35 mm lens adapter was fabricated to fit the smart phone in order to achieve a shallow depth of field. The film simply put is about a little girl that transforms the lives of three people without speaking one word. The movie stars two time Academy Award nominated actress Gena Rowlands (The Notebook, A Woman Under the Influence). The sound design was done by Skywalker Sound. The financing of Olive was done independently of any corporation. The goal now is to be the first film to not only be shot on a cell phone, but to also be the first independently financed feature film on 2,000+ theaters across the United States without the backing of a major studio. Make Sure to LIKE Olive The Movies Facebook page . Make sure to Follow the film on Twitter also. After watch the first 5 minutes can you

Is This The Lizard From The Amazing Spider-Man?

SpiderMedia.ru is reporting that this is the first look at The Lizard from the upcoming movie The Amazing Spider-Man . This isn't what I was expecting and let's see if this is how the final product will look like. Here is some background on The Lizard : Curtis Connors was born in Coral Gables, Florida. He was a gifted surgeon who enlisted in the U.S. Army and was sent off to war. He performed emergency battlefield surgery on wounded GIs, but his right arm was injured in a blast and had to be amputated. After his return to civilian life as a research technologist, Connors became obsessed with uncovering the secrets of reptilian limb regeneration and studied reptilian biology extensively. Working from his home in the Florida Everglades with the help of war buddy Ted Sallis, he finally developed an experimental serum taken from reptilian DNA. He successfully regrew the missing limb of a rabbit and then, despite the warnings of his wife Martha, chose to test it on himself. Co
