The Emmy winner will play a driven CIA officer in the pilot, loosely based on the Israeli television series " Prisoners of War ." The actress, who recently won an Emmy for HBO's Temple Grandin , centers on an American solder taken captive during an invasion in Iraq in 2003, but returns to the U.S. after years in hiding. Danes will play Carrie Anderson, a driven CIA officer fighting psychological demons and is convinced the intelligence that led to a soldier's recapture was a setup. The Howard Stern Show's final live broadcast on Sirius XM Radio under the shock jock's current contract is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17 , and the two sides continue to negotiate a possible extension, according to Stern's producer. " Howard is negotiating, but we've never gone this far before," Stern show producer Gary Dell'Abate said in an appearance on radio station WFAN's Boomer & Carton show on Friday, according to radio industry news site FMQB.
