New Disney's The Sorcerer's Apprentice Featurette We have the a new featurette from the upcoming Disney film The Sorcerer's Apprentice , one thing Disney sure knows how to do is throw a lot of money at big special effects movies. The film was directed by Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure) and stars Nicolas Cage with the best hair he's ever had in a movie, Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer, Monica Bellucci , and Toby Kebbell . The guys over at JoBlo has had a look at the suit Chris Evans will be wearing in the upcoming film Captain America: The First Avenger , and though he can't share any images from the costume tests, he does reveal some rather surprising changes from what you might be familiar with. Cap's famous temple wings? Gone ! Those trademark wings that have come to represent Captain America as much as his shield? Looks like we won't be seeing them. In fact, Cap's hood is gone , too. Replacing it is an Army helmet that comes over Cap's eyes to give him a traditional superhero "domino mask" look, with a black strap that wraps over his ears and under his chin. McG Gets His Hands On "The DUFF" McG is going after " The DUFF ," optioning feature rights to Kody Keplinger 's coming-of-age novel to produce through his Wonderland Sound and Vision with Vast Entertainment. Antoine Fuqua To Direct A Tupac Biopic Training Day director Antoine Fuqua has confirmed that his next movie will be a biopic about rapper Tupac .  Fuqua revealed that the project has just been greenlit by Morgan Creek chairman James G. Robinson and will go in front of cameras later this year. "It looks like we're doing Tupac Shakur's movie next in September, that's what I've been starting up and working on now," he said. "I've been working on that for a while with Morgan Creek and Jim Robinson. I just got the greenlight from him and we're going in September. I've just started to prep that." Ken Watanabe To Direct WWII 442nd Film Ken Watanabe to make his directorial debut soon, Watanabe was introduced to most Western audiences with the 2003 film The Last Samurai for which his performance as Katsumoto earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Watanabe is mostly known in Japan for playing samurai, as in the 1987 Dokuganryu Masamune (One eyed dragon, Masamune) the 50-episode NHK drama for which he is now best known. He played the lead character, Matsudaira Kurō, in the television jidaigeki Gokenin Zankurō, which ran for several seasons. He has gone on to earn acclaim in such historical dramas as Oda Nobunaga, Chushingura, and the movie Bakumatsu Junjo Den. It is said that Oscar nominee Watanabe is in early talks to direct a WWII drama titled 442nd. This independent would be his directorial debut and it’s based on the true story of “an American-Japanese military unit assembled during World War II and sent on virtual suicide missions in the Eur
