Teresa Palmer Lands Lead Role In Mad Max 4 Fury Road Jay Baruchel told reporters interviewing him for the new Dreamworks film How To Train Your Dragon that Palmer, who splits her time between Australia and Hollywood, was preparing for a gruelling shoot on the new Mad Max episode. "She gets to work with him, and she's (going to be) doing Mad Max 4 with Miller," Baruchel said. The actor, who counts Palmer as a very good friend after working with her on the Sorcerer film, said he didn't know the character's exact name, but believed it was the female lead. "She's the main chick in Fury Road," he said. "She's going to be there for over a year. It's really, really cool." The Lovely Bones Movie Review By:Windy Windy has been a busy girl this week. I don't know when she finds the time to write reviews for my site and work on her own . We are so glad she is a part of the SandwichJohnFilms team. “The Lovely Bones”, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Alice Sebold and directed by Peter Jackson, is the story about a family dealing with the crisis of their murdered 14-year old daughter, Susie Salmon, and her father’s hunt for her killer. Most of the story is told from Susie’s point of view after her murder, as she watches her family struggle to cope with her loss and search for her killer. She is stuck in what her younger brother refers to as “the in-between” – a place between Earth and heaven – because she refuses to let go of her family or her killer. Susie, played by Saoirse Ronan (“Atonement”) gives a moving portrayal of a spirit running a gamut of emotions, starting with confusion, moving to fear, and ultimately release.

Paul Reubens Talks Pee Wee Movie And Star Wars Paul Reubens is in the mist of a comeback to the stage and big screen. I was never a fan of Pee Wee's Playhouse, the fact that I lived in Japan during the time the show was on air. Could be one of the reasons. I did love his role in Cheech & Chong's Next Movie . Johnny Depp Confirmed To Play Pancho Villa The film, which will star Johnny Depp and Salma Hayek, will now be called Wild Roses, Tender Roses and will shoot in Spanish. It is being developed and produced through French production company Fidelite. It will shoot in Spain and at Kusturica’s studio Kustendorf, the village he built in Serbia. The No Smoking Orchestra, which Kusturica is a member of, will provide the music for the film, which is billed as an epic in the style of Sergio Leone’s spaghetti westerns and Sam Peckinpah’s The Wild Bunch. “This is going to be my biggest movie. Book Of Eli Movie Review By:Sandwichjohn I had high hopes for Book of Eli, as I do for any Denzel Washington film, and while it didn’t quite live up to my high hopes it was still a good film. Denzel Washington stars as Eli, the protector of the last known copy of a certain book. It has been 31 years since “the flash” and subsequent war destroyed the world as we know it. The world now is a desolate waste land where water is scarce and books are scarcer. Gary Oldman stars as Carnegie, a corrupted mayor in a makeshift town that Eli wanders into. Carnegie has become obsessed with finding a copy of the book, he believes the words of the book have great power and that he could become a great leader with it. Mila Kunis stars as Solara, the daughter of Carnegie’s companion, who follows Eli after he escapes from the town. The action sequences were really well done. Karate Kid Remake Scores Huge On Test Screening I don't care how high the movie scores it will never compare to the original film. Generation Xers may have bemoaned the redo of their 1984 childhood favorite The Karate Kid (I know I did) with none other than silver spooner Jaden Smith taking on the Ralph Macchio role. But, perhaps the results from Sony’s early test screening of the movie from director Harold Zwart (The Pink Panther) will win converts to rejiggering Mr. Miyagi’s karate-lessons-hidden-in-manual labor. The studio tells EW that the film scored just below Sony’s highest research screening ever, 2005’s Hitch, which ironically starred Jaden Smith’s dad Will, the last reigning movie star.
