Gina Carano to Star In “Knockout” first action movie From Steven Soderbergh I would pay good money just to Gina Carano in anything. Coming off her first MMA lost to Cyborg. Seems like she maybe going into a different direction. Once the star of the Hit show American Gladiators , she then made the move to MMA and became a huge success story and now she throws herself her into acting. Which is only fitting. Steven Soderbergh is getting ready to tackle his first action movie. Soderbergh is partnering with Relativity for “Knockout,” a female spy thriller written by Lem Dobbs that will star mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano. Soderbergh will produce the pic with his producing partner Gregory Jacobs along with Relativity’s Ryan Kavanaugh. Relativity's Tucker Tooley will serve as executive producer. The Robert Tannen-written script, which Endgame picked up last year, centers on a man whose wife is the victim of a brutal crime. Star Wars Live Action Show News I can not wait for this show to actually happen and to find out what universe and time Uncle George is going to take us. Steve Sansweet officially acknowledged the Live Action TV series and gave a rough timetable and hinted strongly at a bit of casting news (though the hint will make it constitute as rumour at best). First: Pre-production on the show will be starting soon and go through until the new year. The writers have been working for a while and, according to Sansweet, no one knows anything about the story for sure except George Lucas , Rick McCallum and the writers. First Set Photos Of The Green Hornet They have got this movie off the ground and are really going to make it. Too bad it will be coming out the same day as Tron:Legacy . We all know who is going to win that box office battle. HitFix .com was able to ask Seth Rogen about this new development.
