TV Recap: WALKING DEAD "NO SANCTUARY"

TV Recap: WALKING DEAD "NO SANCTUARY" By: Suepafly Then. Another group regrets following the signs. What did they think was going to happen? They wanted to survive, and now they sit listening to the screams. Gareth is in this group. This must be the Terminus group in the beginning, before they were crazy cannibals. Now. Our little group is vastly different. They don’t sit crying, but rather preparing to bring some pain. Everyone makes make-shift weapons. Daryl warns that they’re coming, and the group prepares to go for their eyes. Instead of coming from the front, the door opens above, and a gas grenade is dropped. There’s no running from it, but Rick gets someone, before he’s knocked out. The men wake, bound and gagged, brought in front of some sort of feeding trough. In the distance a body is being cut up. Down the line heads are hit with a steal bat, and throats are slit. The blood drained into the sink. Gareth comes in asking about shell counts right before Glenn fa

The Shawshank Redemption Still Making Money

Bob Gunton is a character actor with 125 credits to his name, including several seasons of " 24 " and " Desperate Housewives " and a host of movie roles in films such as the Oscar-winning " Argo ." Vaguely familiar faces like his are common in the Los Angeles area where he lives, and nobody pays much attention. Many of his roles have been forgotten. But every day, the 68-year-old actor says, he hears the whispers—from cabdrivers, waiters, the new bag boy at his neighborhood supermarket: "That's the warden in 'Shawshank.' " He also still gets residual payments—not huge, but steady, close to six figures by the film's 10th anniversary in 2004. Since then, he has continued to get "a very substantial income" long past the age when residuals usually dry up. "I suspect my daughter, years from now, will still be getting checks," he said. " Shawshank " was an underwhelming box-office performer when i

Norman Reedus Cast In Triple Nine.

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus will spend his hiatus from the AMC show in the stellar ensemble cast of Triple Nine , the John Hillcoat-directed heist film that begins production this summer. Open Road Films pre-bought domestic distribution rights just prior to Berlin and will release the film wide next year. Reedus , who just completed his fourth season playing Daryl Dixon, joins Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer , and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman in the Batman Vs. Superman film). Matt Cook scripted the thriller, in which a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist. The only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down.” Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action-packed finale filled with double-crosses, greed and revenge. Worldview is finan

TV Recap: The Walking Dead "Us"

TV Recap: The Walking Dead "Us" By: Sue Eugene ponders that this current infection killed off the dinosaurs. He’s chatting up Tara, who found a penny, and she gives it to him. He chatters almost nonstop, and when they make camp that night she takes the watch, but Abraham doesn’t trust her with Eugene’s life. He tells her to get some sleep, she hasn’t slept since they’ve all been together. He thought Tara was in love with Glenn, but he knows that her interest lies elsewhere with the way she’s been checking out Rosita. He asks her if her guilt is about something that she did or didn’t do. It was something she did she confesses, but she doesn’t explain. She asks instead what to do when the mission is over. The next morning, Eugene continues to yak about batteries, when they spot one of Maggie’s signs. It’s signed Maggie, Sasha and Bob. Glenn takes off running down the tracks. With Maggie so close, he can’t stop. Daryl’s little group gets a visit by a walker who walks straigh

TV Recap: Walking Dead "Alone" Season 4 Episode 13

TV Recap: Walking Dead "Alone" Season 4 Episode 13  By: Sue Bob looks a little rough, out in the woods. He's not completely alone as a herd of walkers pass on behind him. He shuffles his feet in a gait that mirrors theirs. He finds a sewer drain and drinks his nightquil, before heading out and climbing atop the a semi trailer. Time passes, walkers walk, and still Bob is there, alone. He climbs down, and Daryl rolls up with Glenn. Bob tells them that he was with two groups, but neither survived. This must have been pre-prison. The ask him some questions, and eventually invite him to join them. He tells them that it doesn't matter who they are, he'll go with them. TV Recap: The Walking Dead "Still'"

TV Recap: The Walking Dead "Still'" By: Sue Our group of survivors are still separated, likely for another episode or so, but they're slowly converging on the same point of "safety," or at least some of them are. Am I the only one who is tired of the separation and just wants to see the gang back together? And a few members lighter? Daryl and Beth are still running around the forest. For some reason Daryl has set aside his super tracking skills, and stopped looking for the other survivors. Maybe its the huge horde of walkers they've come up against, that stopped the search. They find themselves in need of a little getaway, and a trunk seems like as good a spot as ever. A little jerry-rigging and the trunk becomes a safe haven. Daryl's bandanna is almost as good as duck tape in all its handy uses. They hide away while the super herd rolls past them. Come morning the walkers have gone, but the pair remain in the trunk until they deem it safe. They

The truck is too high for the walkers to reach, but that doesn’t stop them from trying. Before Tara can fire her gun and clear the side of the truck. Abraham stops her, and uses his tire iron to dispatch them. Tara watches as he takes care of them, a little in awe. He enjoys killing way too much. He tells Tara he’s the luckiest guy in the world, and the two of them go to move some cars blocking their path. Carl eats his cereal, and laughs at Michonne’s new duds. She finishes the last of the cereal, and wishes for soy milk. Carl is not a fan and he mentions some of the things that he would rather have, when he slips about Judith’s formula
