The Expendables First Reviews Are In Lionsgate threw a party last night and did a test screening of the upcoming film The Expendables and from what has been travling online they has been pretty good. If you were in your teens in the late 80's early 90's you always thought how cool would it be to see Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone in a film together kicking ass. Well your time has come. Spoiler Alert This review is from collider reader “TexMexes” Ever heard of a little movie called The Expendables?!?! Well, I did, and I swore I would never return to Chatsworth unless I had a good enough reason… Last night, Sly gave me 7 — Rourke, Crews, Couture, Stallone, Statham, Li, Lundgren!!!! These are the guys who make up The Expendables, a group of merceneraries hired to overthrow an evil dictator (David Zayas from Dexter) and his crew of thugs (Eric Roberts, Steve Austin and assorted soldiers in black face paint). If the plot sounds simple to you — it is

Sylvester Stallone Broke His Neck While Filming The Expendables

Sylvester Stallone Broke His Neck While Filming The Expendables The veteran action hero had emergency surgery and a metal plate inserted in his neck following the accident on the set of The Expendables. The 63-year-old actor was filming a fight with wrestling co-star Stone Cold Steve Austin, 45, in the upcoming movie, but it was so realistic that Stallone ended up with a hairline fracture in his neck. Man, it was seven guys, kicking each other's ass, one guy tougher than the next. No joke, our stunt guys were begging for mercy. 'Actually, my fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin was so vicious that I ended up getting a hairline fracture in my neck. I'm not joking. 'I haven't told anyone this, but I had to have a very serious operation afterwards. I now have a metal plate in my neck.' Stallone Talks About Remaking Death Wish and Edgar Allan Poe Film

Stallone Talks About Remaking Death Wish and Edgar Allan Poe Film Sylvester Stallone is all over the pop culture landscape. The actor-director is starting to tease us with his upcoming " The Expendables " and he's also working on the pre-production for "Rambo 5." With The Expendables soon storming our screens and Rambo 5 tooling up, you'd think Sylvester Stallone might want to take a breather from the massive explosions and give peace a bit of a chance. Well, you'd be half right. The Italian Stallone has a few things on his mind and one of them is a remake of '70s exploitationer Death Wish. "I'm thinking about it," Stallone told us. "It's a classic morality tale, where you take a civilised man and take away everything that matters to him so he becomes primitive again." Eagle-eyed readers will have spotted some thematic similarities between John Rambo and the gnarly vigilante played by Charles Bronson, but the idea of Rambo

Sly Explains Title Of His New Movie "The Expendables"

Sly Explains Title Of His New Movie "The Expendables" I would always mess with my wife and annoy her with saying the line from the movie. "I'm expendable" and in the film the actress lets Rambo know "he is not Expendable" I would say those two lines over and over again . Nice coincidence that Sly would get the title for this movie from Rambo 2. On the title: "It's from Rambo 2. The girl I'm falling in love with says, “Why do you do what you do?” I say, “I'm expendable.” She says, “What does that mean?” I say, “It's like someone invites you to a party and you don't show up. It doesn't really matter.” And these men, they live a life that... They're expendable. If they're gone, the world will go on. No one will miss them, They don't have families, all they have is each other. They're expendable to the rest of the world, but they're not expendable to each other – they're just necessary. So it's a re
