The trailer for Larry Crowne has arrived. The film was directed and stars by Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts . The also stars Taraji P. Henson, Bryan Cranston, George Takei, Peter Scolari, and Cedric the Entertainer . After Larry Crowne ( Hanks ), a middle-aged man, is terminated from his job, he goes back to college, where he unexpectedly forms bonds with his fellow students and a romantic relationship with Mercedes Tainot, a professor ( Roberts ).Hanks's joint screen-writer, Vardalos, also appears in the film in a yet to be revealed role. Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live , Tom Hanks presented the first clip from his upcoming movie Larry Crowne to the world. The Karate Kid Trailer I was hoping that the movie and trailer would just be really bad. I am a huge Fan of the original film and was hoping this film would look horrible so that no one would waste a dime to go see the film when it hits theaters. But from what they showed on the trailer it doesn't look half bad. Not saying that I would go to see the film during the first weekend, but maybe when it hits the dollar theaters.
