BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Tom Holland Spider-Man: Homecoming Selfie

In various comics and movie storylines, Peter Parker works as a photojournalist, so we suppose it makes sense for the latest incarnation of the character, Tom Holland , to post a Spider-selfie in costume from the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming . Cop Car's Jon Watts (who is tagged in the snap and can be seen standing near the two small screens on the ground) has started shooting the movie in Atlanta. The story this time finds Peter in full swing as Spider-Man, but still figuring out how to balance high school life with battling villains. Marisa Tomei 's Aunt May, who we first met briefly alongside Peter in Captain America: Civil War, is back for this one, as is Robert Downey Jr. 's Tony Stark. The film's new cast includes Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Michael Mando, Tony Revolori, Bokeem Woodbine, Kenneth Choi, Abraham Attah, Zendaya and Martin Starr . DONALD GLOVER Will Star In Spider-Man: Homecoming

Still, those who hoped that the Community veteran would appear in a Spidey film are getting their wish, if not directly, as Glover has joined Spider-Man: Homecoming . So far we don't know what role Glover will be playing, but we're happy to see him part of the Spider-universe. He joins Holland , who makes his stand-alone debut as Peter Parker following his appearance in Captain America: Civil War, Marisa Tomei , who is once again Aunt May, Michael Keaton (as The Vulture, even if it hasn't officially been announced), The First Avenger: Captain America actor Kenneth Choi in a new role as a school headmaster and Michael Barbieri, Tony Revolori and Zendaya , who will all play pals of our friendly neighborhood web-slinger. Not to forget Robert Downey Jr. , who shared scenes with Holland as Tony Stark and brings the zinger-slinger to the Spider-Man films thanks to Marvel and Sony's big crossover deal. Cop Car director Jon Watts is preparing to start shooting, and the

Michael Keaton As The Villian In #SpiderManHomecoming

Variety is reporting Michael Keaton could be returning to the superhero universe — but this time, as a villain. Keaton is in early talks to play a villain in the Marvel and Sony co-production “ Spider-Man: Homecoming ,” starring Tom Holland as the latest Spidey. Marvel and Sony had no comment on the casting. For Keaton, it also marks a switch from DC Comics to Marvel. The Oscar nominee famously played the Caped Crusader in Tim Burton’s “Batman” in 1989, causing his career to skyrocket. Marisa Tomei is currently set to play Aunt May, and Zendaya is also on board in a mystery role. The villain Keaton is being eyed to play is also being kept under wraps. Jon Watts is directing the film from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing the movie, which focuses on a teenage Peter Parker’s high school days. Plot details are still being heavily guarded. Holland’s Spider-Man will first make an appearance in the upcoming “

Next Spidey Film Titled "Spider-Man: Homecoming"

It's now been officially confirmed that Spider-Man: Homecoming is the title of the next Spidey outing, due in summer 2017. Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony Pictures, announced the title at the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas. The title, said Rothman, reflected the youthful age of its high-school star, but also referring to the fact that "Peter [Parker] is trying to find his way home." It may also reference the 1980s comic-book run of the same name, which featured Captain America and Iron Man. Bit by bit, the new Spidey is revealing himself. After Tom Holland’s entrée into the major league smackdown that is Captain America: Civil War in the last trailer. Spider-Man Homecoming, if that is the name Sony and Marvel has plumped for, will be Holland's solo debut as the new Peter Parker and latest member of Team Stark. Supposition and speculation maybe, but there’s plenty of precedent for film titles to be domain-named long in advance of an official title announcement. I
