Chris Cooper has signed on to play Norman Osborn in Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for Columbia Pictures. We already knew that a lot of stuff was left on the cutting-room floor when director Marc Webb put together the final cut of The Amazing Spider-Man . Now we have a good look at 17+ minutes of footage that got axed. So what's there? A pretty good bit of content, including a few alternate scenes that could've shifted the tone had they been included. Though these scenes do add some context and might've helped with the pacing, it doesn't look like we lost a ton with these being relegated to Blu-ray extras.
