BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#WonderWoman First Image & Who's Joining The Cast

Warner Bros. has officially announced the commencement of filming on the solo Wonder Woman movie, complete with the full cast and a new first look photo of Gal Gadot as Diana Prince. Principal photography will take place on location in the UK, France and Italy. Joining Gadot in the Patty Jenkins -directed movie are: Chris Pine as Captain Steve Trevor, Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (Clash of the Titans, X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (the Harry Potter films), Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting), Saïd Taghmaoui (G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In, Van Helsing) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead, UK's The Office). Wright would seem to have replaced Nicole Kidman in the role she had been in negotiations for. Huston, likewise, would seem to be playing the role that rumor had it Sean Bean was considered for, but that's just speculation. Please Leave A Comment- Source- IGN

Chris Pine Is Signed On To Play Steve Trevor In The Upcoming Wonder Woman Film

Patty Jenkins is directing the comic book movie for Warner Bros., which will release the film in 2017. Chris Pine has closed a deal to play Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot in “ Wonder Woman ,” TheWrap has learned. Pine joins the DC Movie Universe in a multi-picture deal that includes sequel options, according to insiders. A representative for Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Steve Trevor will be no mere love interest for Gadot’s Diana Prince, as there will be plenty of action to keep him busy, though plot details remain under wraps. There had been speculation that Pine was up for a role in WB’s upcoming “Green Lantern Corps” and that the “Wonder Woman” rumors were just a smokescreen, but that popular fanboy theory proved unfounded. Patty Jenkins is directing “Wonder Woman,” which Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are producing with Charles Roven and Richard Suckle of Atlas Entertainment. Chris Pine in Talks to Join DCCU

Learn what role he is slated to play. Story by Matt Cummings It's pretty clear that Actor Chris Pine makes everything he's in that much better. He's been a great Captain Kirk in the Star Trek reboots, a very good Jack Ryan in the recent Shadow Recruit , and even made Horrible Bosses 2 a livable experience. So it was bound to happen that the star would join either the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DC one; the question was which one would be smart enough to get him. It now looks like we know what universe he will join and what role he might play. According to Variety , Pine is in negotiations to play a major role in Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman, that being none other than Colonel Steve Trevor. In the comics, Trevor is the human liaison and love interest to Wonder Woman who crashes his WWII plane on Paradise Island, the isolated home of the Amazons. He was rescued by Diana and brought back to America, where the two worked for the US government. In the

Wonder Woman Finds A New Director

DC spends little time in finding Michelle MacLaren's replacement. Story by Matt Cummings With news that Director Michelle MacLaren had left the long-awaited Wonder Woman film last week, it seemed like fans might have been denied one of The Justice League's top cops. Not so much. On Wednesday, Warner Bros ( via THR ) announced that director Patty Jenkins has agreed to step in. Does the name sound familiar? It might, if you had been following the development of Thor: The Dark World. Jenkins departed that production (due to creative differences), allowing Game of Thrones helmer Alan Taylor to step in. This signing hopefully ends the small circus that had developed around the Amazonian Princess’ first solo movie. Names like Angelina Jolie were circulated, but it was the Monster director Jenkins who finally won out. She's primarily known for her director that nabbed Actress Charlize Theron a Best Actress Oscar in 2011, but Jenkins has directed episodes o
