One of the mainstays of movie time in the 1990's Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park introduced audiences to the world of dinosaurs run amok. It was also one of the first computer-generated films to feature animals completely made in the digital realm. When it was re-released in 2013 in 3D, it was like the series never left (read our review here). When it premiered in 1993 to strong praise and box office success, the door seemed open to an every-three years slew of dinosaur fright. In subsequent years, the franchise saw two sequels that were financially successful but failed to match the excitement generated by the original. Jurassic World , which carries with it a hefty chunk of history and plenty of detail to exploit, is no exception.
